Our apartment is in Côte-des-Neiges, a real, lived-in Montreal neighbourhood. It’s not a tourist-trap area; it`s a place where people from all over the world live, work, and study. The vibe is friendly, down-to-earth, and always buzzing with activity.
It’s an especially great spot if you`re in town to visit the University of Montreal, HEC, or the nearby hospitals like the Jewish General or St. Mary`s—they`re all just a short walk or bus ride away.
You will never go hungry here. Walk a few minutes to Côte-des-Neiges Road and you`ll find an incredible variety of food – from amazing Vietnamese and Filipino spots to classic Montreal Jewish delis and Caribbean restaurants. There are also plenty of cafes, bakeries, and grocery stores for all your daily needs.
For a bit of fresh air, you`re not far from the famous Mount Royal Park, which is perfect for a walk or a hike with amazing views of the city. The area is generally safe and residential, with families and students all sharing the space.
Getting around from here is pretty easy, whether you have a car or not.
The Côte-des-Neiges metro station (Blue line) is about a 15-minute walk or a very short bus ride away. The Snowdon station (Blue and Orange lines) is also close by. From there, you can connect to the rest of the city`s subway system and be downtown in about 20-25 minutes.
This is your best friend here. The 165 bus line runs 24/7 along Côte-des-Neiges Road and will take you straight downtown through the beautiful Mount Royal Park. There are several other bus lines that crisscross the area too.
This is a great neighbourhood to explore on foot. You can easily walk to grocery stores, pharmacies, dozens of restaurants, and parks.
The apartment is near the Décarie Expressway (Highway 15), a main artery that runs north-south through the city. Street parking is available in the area, but like most of Montreal, you need to read the signs very carefully for permit restrictions and cleaning days. It can be tricky, so give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot.
Montreal is a fantastic city for cyclists. There are BIXI (bike-sharing) stations scattered around the neighbourhood, and you can easily connect to the city’s network of bike paths.
✧The AC and heating systems are available and operational based on the season. The AC is installed from late spring through mid-autumn, though this may vary depending on the seasonal temperatures. The heating system is permanently installed and available for use during any cold weather.
Please note that, for the safety of guests and the community, a Rental Agreement must be signed and a valid ID provided at least two days prior to arrival. Please review the Amenities, Rules, and Policies page. Feel free to reach out with any questions at all!
