Schnell ist man mit dem Auto in Montrose zum Einkaufen, in den Highlands zum Wandern oder am St. Cyrus Beach zum Baden. Das Haus in der Lage ist eine absolute Empfehlung! ”

Mo's home made Victorian cake was to die for. The cottage was very large and had amazing views. In a great location for short day trips. We will be staying there again in the future.”

“The Old Gasworks is a very cosy and comfortable cottage, set in the most beautiful gardens. Close to Montrose, and an easy drive to Glamis Castle and House of Dun as well. We’ve really enjoyed our holiday- thank you! ”

“Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx”

“Ein wunderschönes Haus, mit wirklich tollen Blick in die Landschaft. Es ist alles in der Küche vorhanden, was man benötigt, wir haben nichts vermisst.Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Der nächste größere Ort ist Stonehaven, wo man gut einkaufen kann. Ein Aldi ist Richtung Aberdeen in ca25 Minuten zu erreichen.Das Haus liegt super eingebettet in der Landschaft, egal was man machen möchte, ob die Natur und die spektakulären Brutgebiete an den Felsen besuchen, eine große Stadt wie Aberdeen...

“Got a phone call next day saying that the neighbour didn’t like us and we had to leave I told them didn’t have anywhere to go Definitely would not book and stay with them again avoid”

“Lynda was a wonderful and very helpful host. The cottage was so clean and well cared for that it looked like we were one of her first guests (though we know we were not). I have never stayed in an accommodation which was any cleaner or well cared for. Welcome basket, available picnic supplies (reusable plastic tumblers, plates and utensils), and helpful instructions for use of kitchen appliances and heating system were some of the unexpected pluses. "I have a challenge with wall-mounted showers with low water-pressure. It takes forever to clean off the soap. You spend too much time in the shower. Poor lighting in the bathroom makes it hard to shave properly. The breakfast is nice but as all hotels today they have super-tiny glasses for juice. Management think people will drink less juice and they believe they will save money. But all it does is making everyone stand up and walk across the room four times for a refill. "
