“A very spacious property both inside and out. Very well equipped, and appearing to be further developed. Very good kitchen, bbq and outside areas and a rather quirky inside layout. Lots of space for families with children. We had an issue at one point and the owners, who are charming people, were very quick to respond and to try and sort things out. The pool, of course, is excellent, particularly as we had extremely hot weather.”

“I can honestly say the accommodation and area surpassed our expectations. Communication with René was incredibly efficient before and during our stay, including recommended restaurants and local events taking place during our stay. Location of the property is perfect for what we wanted - close to the centre of Avoine and it's facilities, but secluded and not overlooked. “The gite was super clean with comfortable beds. A lot of thought has been put into the layout. I really appreciated that ventilation had been put into the kitchen and downstairs bedroom, meaning that damp wasn't an issue, as it can sometimes be in old properties. The garden is fantastic, with half shade, half sun and there is garden furniture for both eating and relaxing. One thing to note is that wi-fi isn't available in the gite itself. Wi-fi is available in the owners' hotel, next door. ...

“Very peaceful location nestled in a large shrub and tree filled garden. The accommodation was super clean and well equipped with a quirky staircase. The whole place has a relaxed feel with Mark and Lisa as welcoming and helpful hosts. Do we recommend? Yes and we are planning a return visit next year to prove it. ”
