Incomparable property with fantastic service
This vacation rental has no equal. Without a shadow of a doubt, Fare Varari is the most exceptional property you can find, at any price. This breathtaking home is literally paradise on earth. And this paradise comes with its own “Saint” and her name is Caroline. Together, they will ensure this will be the vacation stay of a lifetime. Our family of 10 (aged 10-80) had an amazing visit at this wonderful home. The property is enormous and beautifully landscaped. Incredible snorkeling every day off our almost private beach. Rays, black tipped sharks and variety of coral fish were abundant. The lagoon is calm and safe for all. The home is beautiful inside and out. Air conditioned bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms and fantastic outside seating. Kayaks, outrigger canoe and snorkel gear for all ages add to water pleasure. Caroline, the property manager couldn't have been more helpful before and during our stay. Caroline answered all our pre trip questions and made our stay fantastic. She was able to pre stock the house with groceries for our arrival. She was always available and helped arrange travel and tours including dinner reservations in Papeete for our departure evening. The game room was fantastic fun for everyone The chef, security guard and daily cleaning were all exceptional. A short trip to the owners ( Tahia) gem store, just down the road, is well worth it!! All in all, our best family trip ever.

Above and Beyond
The entire experience staying at the villa has been above and beyond our expectations. The in-house services were amazing and they paid attention to every detail. The location is perfect. We loved taking advantage of the outdoor toys and snorkeling was incredible. We loved the amenities and the entire stay was a piece of paradise.

Perfect Moorea Home
Caroline was incredibly helpful before and during our stay, answering questions, setting up groceries and a homemade dinner, helping to adjust our ferry tickets last minute. She was the best introduction to this experience! The house was incredible- you couldn’t ask for more. On the beach, with kayaks and snorkeling equipment, a jacuzzi, spa, game room, outdoor bbq area, hammock, hanging chairs, huge house with big bathrooms and a separate house for our 9th family member. There were games, books, comfy couches and lovely showers. We felt very taken care of with daily cleaning, night security, and a private space to ourselves in an excellent location. We went running or walking on the road and beach daily from the front door. It was so hard to leave!

Phenomenal House with Amazing Customer Service
We traveled here last month with our friends and fell in love at first sight. Caroline was very quick and thorough in her communications with us, and just a lovely human being. All staff were amazing - Fifi did a wonderful job cleaning and we enjoyed our private security guard. Highly recommend doing the traditional Tahitian dance lesson and having Fifi cook you a local style dinner. It was such a treat and our friends said both of these activities were in their top three highlights of the trip. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals for 8 people, the only thing missing was a drinking water dispenser for the giant 5 gallon jugs of drinking water (cannot drink from the tap anywhere in Tahiti), but we bought one so hopefully it is there for us next time to use. Limited screens on the windows and door so we kept the house closed most of the time to avoid mosquitos, but it was cool enough weather in late September to do so. The house itself is a gorgeous space, very comfortable, tastefully decorated. We have already booked for next year and would recommend this beautiful space to everyone. A huge mauruuru to Caroline and Fifi for making our stay so memorable. Na na till next time! Sara and Tim

Heaven on earth !
This our fourth time renting fare varari and as always we did not want to leave . Beautiful home in a unique setting in Moorea . The house was recently updated and offers very comfortable accommodation with great amenities . The host is very efficient and always ready to make your stay as special as possible . Looking forward to many more future stays .

Best location in Moorea
We stayed at Fare Varari villa with my kids and grandkids, 9 total. The villa is luxurious with new large bathrooms, 5 stars bedding and towels. The beach in the front of the house is amazing; the best spot is Moorea for swimming, kayaking and let the kids play on the sand and shallow water. We stayed last year at the Sofitel and this house could bit the Sofitel on every aspect. Everything is at the house for you to enjoy for a perfect vacation! Fifi prepared for us one night an outstanding BBQ diner with local delicious dishes. Caroline arranged for us Fire dances by local dancers and band. This was a remarkable night! Highly recommended. The house and location exceeded our expectations. Caroline, property manager, was in contact with me before and during our trip to make our trip remarkable and help us to book few activities. The house offers 2 hours of daily cleaning that was great to have our room organized and changing towels if you need. This place is outstanding and magical better than on the pictures! I am highly recommended this place and thanks to Caroline and her staffs we had an unforgettable vacation.

Special Property and Incredible Experience
We had a magical stay at Fare Varari. The property is beautiful and the views of the lagoon, reef, sunset, etc. are truly captivating in person. Our family of 2 adults and 3 young-ish children particularly enjoyed the hot tub, the game room, the hammock and the open air pavilion next to the main house. Bedrooms/bathrooms were all very nice and the kitchen suited us well. It is obvious that a lot of thought has been put into making the property and its amenities first-rate. We spent much of our time snorkeling in the coral gardens that begin mere feet from the shoreline and kayaking further out into the lagoon. Caroline, the property manager was responsive, friendly and helpful. The overnight security guard and cleaning lady (Melody?) were was also lovely and helpful. Moorea has a special place in our hearts and we are anxious to return. When we do, I can’t imagine we’d stay anywhere else; it was simply perfect for us. Mauruuru!

Fabulous Villa on Morrea
Gorgeous villa on a beautiful beach with lovely calm water. Each room is well appointed with a beautiful bathroom. The outdoors has a variety of places to hang out and we used them all! The studio has a wonderful game party room that we enjoyed late night. The villa is equipped with a number of kayaks and new snorkel sets for 10! There are floats as well and a ping pong table that we loved. The grounds are beautiful. Caroline, the house manager, is exceptional! Extremely attentive, responsive, answered all questions and followed through on everything quickly. So friendly as we arrived and gave us a complete tour of the property and lovely fresh leis. Friendly stingrays swim by. We kayaked one morning and encountered 20 dolphin playing and jumping and spinning in the air, right by us! The snorkeling is lovely with reefs right out front. We loved our stay and hope to return sometime! It is a unique gorgeous spot and managed perfectly! Highly recommend!

Idyllic home on a quiet lagoon
On arrival we were greeted by Caroline, the house manager, with leis and a refreshing fruit platter. Caroline is lovely and this was so welcoming. The house is very nicely furnished and comfortable and there was plenty of room for all eight of us, with lots of fun activities at our fingertips. After enjoying the beach and the lagoon, we loved playing ping pong before dinner, and after dinner, going to the clubhouse for a game of pool, foosball, board games, etc. The house has three kayaks and some snorkeling gear, as well as floaties and life vests. Our one suggestion would be to provide a couple of SUP boards and a full supply of ice on arrival (gin & tonics were a must for us and we had to wait for the water in the ice trays to freeze). Fifi, the house cleaner, prepared a delicious dinner one evening, to help us celebrate my milestone birthday. We had all eight of us plus a couple of friends, that had been on the National Geographic cruise. It was a very memorable evening and enjoyed by all. I highly recommend this stunning home for any group wanting to spend time on this beautiful island in comfort and luxury.

Great location, Beautiful beach, toxic host
Lovely house. Great location next to the best restaurants on the island. House was a bit dated but in good condition, all things considered. There is no AC in the main living area which limits the time you can spend together. Hot tub didn’t work and they never fixed it because there wasn’t an electrician on the island. Host was horrible and the checkout process ruined our trip. I asked the host for checkout instructions 2 hours before checkout. She said don’t worry about it. She shows up and starts acting extremely rude because the dishes weren’t done and the trash wasn’t taken out. When I asked why she didn’t tell us to clean everything, she didn’t even reply and just shook her head in disgust. She then told me I would be charged for the dishes and clean up. Outside of that absurd request, I offered to call it even because the hot tub was broke all week. Here’s the cherry on top, she accused us of leaving the dishes to get “revenge” for the hot tub not working and even went so far to say we probably broke the hot tub. If you care about CX and relaxing, stay away from these people. I saved all the whats app communications so you can see first hand how you will be treated. Feel free to email me for more information if you’re really considering booking.

Dear Brendan, I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay at my property. As someone who has been renting out my home for over 10 years, guest satisfaction is of the utmost importance to me. While I appreciate your feedback, I must express my disappointment in the disrespectful manner in which you and your family left the property. As you can see from the overwhelmingly positive reviews on my property listing, we have always strived to provide our guests with a high-quality vacation experience. However, your disregard for the property, including leaving dishes and cocktail glasses scattered throughout the garden and on the sand where they were used as children's toys, utensils thrown into the ocean, overflowing garbage, a valuable family mirror missing some of its beautiful shells and pearls and a newly renovated kitchen cabinet door broken, among other things is unacceptable. While it is true that my property manager did not send you the checkout instructions, it is common courtesy for guests to leave the property in the same condition in which it was received. Unfortunately, this was not the case with your stay. Regarding the hot tub, I can assure you that it was in working order before your arrival, as it is checked before each new arrival. After your departure it required significant repairs, which (along with the cabinet door repair) largely exceeded the deposit we regretfully had to withhold from you. We have the invoices for these repairs and are happy to share them with you. Moorea is a very small island with few electricians so while inconvenient, it is standard not to have a mechanic or electrician available for same or next day services. I have taken note of your feedback regarding the AC in the living room and will consider it for future guests. We do have AC in every bedroom in the house, as well as the game room. None of our previous guests have complained about not having it in the living room- our location in Haapiti village means we receive a refreshing south/southeast sea breeze which most find very pleasant. Lastly, I would like to address your insinuation that my property manager treated you poorly. We take this claim very seriously as it is the first complaint we've received. After reviewing her communications with you, we have found no evidence of such behavior. We have pictures of the mess you left behind, which further supports our decision to withhold your deposit. I am saddened that your experience ended on this note, but I believe it is important for us to address the issues that arose during your stay. As natives of Moorea, we take immense pride in our home and our island and hope that future guests will treat it with the same respect that we do. All the best, Tahia

Comfortable bach with everything you might need. Location bordering on bush is a huge plus for deer and birdlife visitation! Having the local host call in is a nice touch. Web description could add that the property has a washing machine fully supplied for use.

Paradise
This is our second time staying at Fare Varari. We stayed there right before Covid and loved it - and came back as soon as we could! The place was even more perfect than before. They had made significant improvements - added two full bathrooms, air conditioning in each bedroom, new furniture, new kitchen remodel, a full outside shower and bathroom, plus a great game room with pool, foosball and a hang-out space. It was like having an amazing beach resort to yourself. The location could not be better - a spectacular beach, with some of the best snorkeling on the island right in front. We spent so much time in the water and in the kayaks that they provide. Caroline is extremely responsive and an absolute gem to work with. We were there with our extended family of 9 - 2 teens (who stayed in the back bungalow and had a blast, also a nice addition), 2 kids, two couples and grandma. We had plenty of space. We did not even realize that the housekeeper would also do laundry - that was a nice perk. We cooked many of our own meals, because there really isn't a better view in any restaurant on the island :) but Caroline also helpfully arranged dinner reservations. We hope to be back!!

No better location than this! Beautiful property!
You can't beat the location with this home! Caroline was there to greet us and one of the first things you notice are the friendly rays swimming in the ocean right outside the back of the house, which we thought also had the best snorkeling compared to other spots we went on the island. The beautiful white sand beach was cleaned every day by Vahia (security/groundskeeper). You should see him fire dance in the private Tahitian dance show Caroline can arrange at sunset on the property for you! Highly recommend!! Great show and music!! We also highly recommend you book the housekeeper Fifi to cook dinner for you at the house! We did it twice and it was so nice to not have to worry about dinner. Her dinners and desserts were excellent with big portions and she was such a pleasure as well. She also cleaned up and did laundry for us during the week. She was great! As for the house itself, it was beautiful and in excellent condition just like you see in the pictures. They've put a lot of work into updating and designing the home and it shows. The outdoor furniture had also been updated compared to the pictures online, which was great. We loved having comfortable king beds in each room and the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom (2 en suite). We had some plumbing issues in one of the bathrooms, but it was resolved a couple days later as Caroline arranged for a plumber to come fix it. Also, the kitchen is not well equipped to handle cooking large amounts as the dishwasher is compact and much smaller than a regular dishwasher and the selection of pots/pan/cooking paraphernalia is limited. We were a family of 6 and we managed just fine, though, and also never felt cramped in the house. Did I mention the location already??!! Sitting outside every day and just admiring the tropical beauty and the blue waters was so incredible! Every member of our family loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. Don't hesitate to book this place!!

Outstanding stay in Moorea
We absolutely loved this property. Caroline was an excellent host helping to arrange everything from delivery people to photographers. The house is excellent with everything a family with kids could need. The gated property is expansive with a huge separate game room, jacuzzi, back yard, covered outdoor patio with grille, outdoor shower and plenty of space to the beach and water. It's about 30 minutes drive from the ferry terminal, 25 from the main grocery store and less to all other attractions/activities on the island. Thank you for a great experience - we will be back!

Amazing views of lagoon and great snorkeling!!
Our family of 9 had a wonderful stay at this home. We loved eating every meal on the outside porch where we could see the beautiful lagoon and hear the waves breaking on the reef. We had very little bugs and the beach and snorkeling are outstanding. We loved Moorea and had an outstanding time. We swam with the whales - I can't recommend that highly enough. Sometimes we didn't have hot water for the showers, but overall - we had an amazing trip and loved the location and the beach and lagoon. I would love to come here again in the future and swim with the whales again. One of the most beautiful islands in the world with extremely kind people. Heaven on earth!!

Outstanding
Thank you Caroline for everything. Our stay was lovely. Waking up with a beach just steps from the lagoon. Coffee in hand watching the sun rise. Wine in hand watching the unbelievable colors of the sunset. The property was everything we had hoped for and then some. I believe i could have stayed in that beautiful bathroom! It was so nice to have someone come in every morning to clean up for us and comforting to have security at night. What a thrill to snorkle in that lagoon with the reef shark and rays. Ill remember this trip always. Beautiful spot in paradise.

It's All That AND More
We just finished our 9 night stay at the villa. We were a large family having a long overdue reunion and selected this villa to accommodate our family. As we planned the trip, I had a lot of emails and Caroline was always very quick to respond and provided great advise. Caroline made dinner reservations...coordinated a private fire dance on our beach (extremely highly recommend)...gave us recommendations for tour operators, etc.. just great communication. The villa and the views were spectacular. The villa is located on the quieter (and we loved that) west side of the island. It is 30 minutes to the ferry and 25 minutes to the bays. Perfectly located on the island. We never saw a nicer beach than the one that was ours....the rays (or sea puppies) are always out and swimming feet from the shore. Black tip reef sharks are abundant and never were anything to worry about. The snorkeling from the beach was fantastic. The villa has snorkeling equipment but we brought our own. There are 5 or 6 kayaks that we used every day. Sunsets were beautiful and every night we were blessed with a rainbow. Coffee in the AM watching it get light was special. The villa is perfect for a large (or small group). All the bedrooms are air conditioned. The central locations are very nice and the outside locations are beautiful. We loved the staff....housekeepers, groundskeepers and security. Everyone was super nice. The only small (and its small) item is that some of the outdoor furniture is near the end of its lifecycle and seeing how they care for the property, I am sure they are already looking to replace it. Overall this place is a WOW!!!!!

Paradise
Our family cannot say enough good things about this amazing place we got to call home for 10 days... our family of grandparents, parents, and children ranging from 10 to 1.5 all had the most amazing time here. Caroline is such an amazing host and will make your stay perfect. The home is absolutely gorgeous. None of us wanted to leave. The home is very well equipt with everything you need, from activities on the beach (kayaks, snorkel gear, etc), to the kitchen, to the outside Game Club... everything is just amazing. Every day we spent time snorkeling in the lagoon with many colorful fish, stingrays, and sharks. This home made our trip so special and memorable ... we would love to return.

This house is amazing. We enjoyed our time immensely. The experience was extremely smooth, and our on site manager was there to greet us and provide all the info we needed. The services included a daily maid and a night time security guard. The location of the house is on a very beautiful beach and the luxury of the house itself made this well worth the money.

Spectacular Villa
This property is nothing less than magnificent. My wife and I stayed with our son and his girlfriend for 10 days. As soon as you enter the private grounds, you are surrounded by nature and all its beauty. The grounds are perfectly groomed with so many of the islands natural plants and vegetation. We were greeted by Caroline, our hostess, as soon as we arrived. She was waiting for us with a traditional Tahitian Lei and a plate of fresh fruit and bread and cheese. She was beyond gracious as she gave us a tour of the villa. Upon entry, you are captivated by the turquoise water thru the sliding doors of the villa. The villa itself was furnished beautifully and the decore was amazing. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were exquisite. My wife bathed in the free standing tub each night and her view was of the crystal clear ocean and orange & purple sunset. We had our own private aquarium in the pristine lagoon. Sting Rays and black tip reef sharks frequented the beachfront property daily. The location was best on the island. We couldn't wait to get home from our excursions each day to lounge in the oceanfront cabana and catch the sunset. Caroline was an outstanding hostess and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She arranged dinners, excursions and gave recommendations that were top notch. The service she provided was superior to anything we have had in our many travels. They had a private security guard each night and he was just a joy to speak with. We will be back. We cannot say enough great things about our stay. You will not be disappointed if you vacation here.

Seldom does it happen that a property exceeds the photographs or your expectations especially when they are already so grand! That is the case here from the house accommodations and decor to the playroom to the Beach & the quality of the residence and equipment provided. The daily cleaning, security & phenomenal care provided by Caroline the property manager makes this the best Vrbo we have stayed at! It made it so grand that a family of 10 beach lovers could be completely entertained at one location, with everything needed already anticipated and ready at this very well thought out residence. Paradise
We had a phenomenal stay at this home. It is among the nicest properties you can stay at on the island. Everything was perfect from our check in with Fifi to our time snorkeling out in the lagoon. The rooms are amazing and luxurious, and will be unlike anything else you will find on the island. Our only critique is that the kitchen over and stove are a bit dated and could use some updating. Otherwise we loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back again! The housekeeping staff and security are so sweet and kind as well

Best spot in Moorea to stay
Perfect place in Moorea, lot of charm, big property. New playing area entertainment AC (pool, babyfoot, TV…), 4 main bedrooms with AC freshly renewed. The white sand beach is spoting a blue turquoise lagoon. 3 minutes away by car to a famous surf spot. Lots of kayaks available. Not far away using ebikes to Moorea belvédère. Small grocery store 1 minutes away by car ( opened every day). Manu restaurants around. Perfect for Family stay or with friends.

A wonderful slice of paradise
I finally had the opportunity to take my wife, three children and their spouses to French Polynesia to stay on the beautiful island of Moorea. This home made our vacation amazing and one we will never forget. We were welcomed by Tiare and Fifi. We were shown the home with the patio overlooking the sunset on the beach as the manta rays went swimming by. The four bedrooms in the main house worked perfectly for our group. We spent most of our time on the patio or outside on the beach. The large open area in the home allowed us to gather after the sun went down. The sliding doors on each side allowed the south pacific breeze to flow through. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook when we wanted. We barbecued one evening and ate on the lanai. And the air conditioning in each room was so nice to have at night. During the week I was able to talk with Vehia, the gardener, (I was lucky to talk with him in Tahitian or French or, when I couldn't remember the words, English) who showed us the plants and kept the beach groomed and clean. He was so kind! Fifi helped us to keep the home clean and answered our questions about where we were going. She, too, is a gem! The internet allowed my kids to stay in touch with their kids (our grandkids). Every extra moment we were exploring the lagoon on the outrigger and kayaks or snorkeling. The colorful fish were so interesting. The manta rays kept swimming back and forth in front of the home. It was so fun to watch for the shark fins in the lagoon but they never bothered us when we were snorkeling. We explored the island of Moorea, which is a paradise. The people are so kind and helpful and we came to love them. Thank you, Tahia, for sharing your property with us. Every one of us vowed to come back as soon as we can!! In fact, before finishing this, my daughters who went with us came by and said, once again, "did we really go to paradise or was that just a dream." Thank you!

Fantastic property!
Tahia's property is stunning. We arrived 2 days after the island went into Covid-19 lockdown and had to stay on-property for 10 days other than trips to the grocery. Despite this restriction, we had a fabulous time on Moorea and at Tahia's property. It's a large property and didn't feel confining at all despite our 9 guests. Our cleaner and grounds keeper/overnight security were delightful. The location with large ocean front beach and great snorkeling steps away from the house really made the trip. Thank you Tahia for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful home in Ha'apiti
We were a family group of 6 (4 adults and 2 young children) and stayed in this beautiful home for a week in September. We had a wonderful time in Moorea, and this home was a big part of it. It exceeded our expectations in every way. It has a large, grassy lawn space for the kids to run around, and a calm, beautiful beach right at your doorstep. We had large groups of rays, stunning coral, fish and even a few friendly black tip reef sharks swimming by daily. We snorkeled in front of the house and made full use of the kayaks that were provided. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals at home, and the deck is perfect for outdoor dining and catching the beautiful sunsets. Two of the bedrooms have A/C and the others have fans. You will need your own rental car to get around the island, which is what we did and it worked out well. All of the activities you'd want to do are less than a 30 minute drive from the home. Tahia, the property manager, was very friendly and very responsive to all of our questions. We can't wait to come back!!

Absolutely perfect
We just got back from the most perfect vacation ever - certainly the best tropical vacation. This house was a big part of it - it is simply spectacular. It is in a gorgeous location, has a large and well-kept garden, and it is right on a beach! It is also very private, we barely saw anyone else walk on the beach during our 10 days there. The main house has four bedrooms and a large common room that you can open up to breezes, a kitchen that has everything (we ate all our meals outside on the lanai) and very nice bathrooms. There is also a gorgeous tiki house and another building with laundry and a gym even! We were there with my 3 children (ages 2, 5 and 10) and my husband and mother-in-law. It was the perfect size for us. There were great boats and an outrigger available, sand toys for the kids and floats, and we spent hours snorkeling and boating off "our" beach. The kids also loved the outdoor shower (and probably ran it a little too long!). The snorkeling was the best ever for me - a warm lagoon chock full of colorful fish, coral and a few black tipped sharks. We saw a stingray too. We didn't even realize that there would be the wonderful housekeeper Romilda and her husband, they took care of everything. Tiare was super fast to respond and so helpful. This place is truly a find and we cannot wait to return!

One of our BEST rental experiences!
Thank you, Tiare for one of the best experiences we've ever had in a rental! No pictures can prepare you for what you'll see when you drive through the gate upon arrival. Our jaws dropped and we knew we were in Paradise. PERFECT LOCATION with an unbeatable experience. The views are crazy amazing. We loved being able to hang out at our own beach, swim and snorkel. We went snorkeling many times during the week and saw so many beautiful fish (without paying for a tour to see them!!). There are also kayaks to use any time. We were 7 people and there were enough kayaks for everyone to enjoy. It's amazing to enjoy the ocean in the lagoon setting. The waves break at the coral reef break way out from shore. Not a single wave breaks at shore and swimming, snorkeling and kayaking in the quiet lagoon was truly a wonderful experience. We prefer private rentals over hotels so we can fix our own food. There was a large supermarket about 20 minutes from the villa that had a huge selection of food. The kitchen here has everything you need to prepare your own food. Our favorite part was using the grill and eating out in the separate outdoor grass covered bungalow (not sure what to call it). We loved sitting out there at night. We choose private rentals because we prefer to stay away from high traffic tourist areas. This place is absolutely perfect for this. Ha'apiti is quiet and has more locals than tourists. The property managers Romy and her husband were phenomenal. We didn't know daily cleaning came with the rental. Every day, Romy and her husband made sure the grounds and the villa were clean for us. My daughters loved talking to Romy every day. They were able to speak to her in French (something they don't get to do much at home in the US). We give this rental a 10+ and highly recommend it. If we are able to book another vacation to Tahiti, we plan on staying here again!

Amazing house & staff, Amazing location
The house is in such a beautiful location. Steps from clear water snorkeling with green mountains in the back. It's a photographers dream. The staff was great to work with & very attentive. Fresh tropical flower arrangements, fruit & some water bottles along with a lei greeting were nice touches. Plenty of dishes, pans, silverware, toaster, towels, & best of all a washer, drier & a cloths line at the back of the property. The grounds are pretty with plumeria, hibiscus, & a variety of other flowers & bushes & trees. The veranda that faces the ocean has plenty of seating & a table to eat at. There's even a separate open building area to grill & sit in. We never ate inside. There's a outdoor shower to rinse sea water off & foot wash station by the porch steps. Out door lights illuminate the beach if you like walking in the sand after sunset. Not much to be done about it, but be advised there are noises from chickens, other people's dogs, & gecko's chirping. Just bring ear plugs if sensitive to sleeping. The sound of the ocean waves help. Air conditioning is only in 2 bedrooms, but opening both front & back sliding doors gives a good cross breeze. About 2 blocks away they burn leaves & brush making smoke that can come in the open windows & doors. We felt safe here, but anytime you're gone, or at the beach, we closed up the doors & windows. The pretty wood floors in the living room are nice as many rental houses have hard tile everywhere. The refrigerator is large & has a freezer on the bottom making getting groceries easy. The lady who handles booking is quick to answer questions & very helpful. The lady who does housekeeping is kind & attentive & helped us figure things out. The guy who takes care of the grounds & security is pleasant & does good work keeping the property looking nice. You can not beat this location. Sunset over the water, every shade of blue in the reef with coral & fish right at your door step. They have kayaks, paddles & even snorkel fins available. It's stunningly beautiful & we were very happy being in this lovely house instead of the over crowded hotel scene. We highly recommend staying here. You won't want to leave.

Breathtaking location
I would book this home again--pros outweigh the cons. Pros: It was perfect for two couples; there are comfortable bedrooms w/ A/C and bathrooms on either side of the house. The main shared space has amazing windows to enjoy the view from the front (gardens) and back (beach/ocean.) The big, quiet beach is only steps away, and it is a magical place in the world. We all stared repeatedly in wonder of the beauty. The barrier reef make the water glassy, there is great snorkeling, there are sting rays and black tip reef sharks swimming through constantly. (This is a good thing. :)) One needs only walk a few steps on to the beach to witness some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. The property is gated and fenced, feels private and is beautifully maintained. There is a building with a gym/laundry/sauna and another large cabana building with outdoor kitchen all on about an acre. The owners graciously and kindly accommodated our check-in time and staff had a lovely welcome for us. I don't want to ruin the surprise, but part of it included a generous supply of beautiful local fruit, which we loved. (There were a few other welcome surprises--nice touch!) Cons: 1. This is likely a potential problem for all properties on the island, but there was an attempted burglary while we were there. When the four of us had gone into the water, a man was trying all the windows and doors to enter the home. I witnessed this, and he ran (and jumped over the fence) when I approached. Renters--keep everything locked up, including windows and doors, even when you are home. I wish the owners warned guests of being careful, but ultimately, it's our own responsibility to be vigilant. 2. The ad mentioned 3 kayaks and an outrigger canoe, but they weren't all functional. Only one kayak paddle was functional. We patched a second paddle with paracord, so it would stay together The third was beyond repair. The outrigger has also seen better days and no one was confident using it on the water. (It's patched with a stick.) 3. You receive an automatic driveway gate opener to use, but ours ran out of battery towards the end of the stay. We weren't given a key to get in the man door, so someone had to jump over the gate to manually open it. Perhaps give future guests the man door gate key as backup. Despite the cons, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The home is lovely and the place it is.. is one of the most beautiful on earth. It's a soul-soothing place.

Moorea’s petty crime rate is among the lowest anywhere and you are wise to keep all valuables locked in the safe provided. We also provide overnight security for all of our guests. This was a fantastic place
We had a great time. The house is great. Very comfortable. I highly recommend this rental. There is a great kitchen, 4 bedrooms, a BBQ area , and a gym with a sauna. We were in heaven and didn’t want to leave! It sits right on a beautiful beach and there are even 3 kayaks to use. We lounged on the beach and kayak every day. We are already planning a return trip for next year. This is our new favorite place!

Our Favorite Place on our Favorite Island 🌴
This was our 2nd time staying in this beautiful Villa. We had a relaxing 2 weeks and always dread heading back to the Canadian snow. Lots of new adventures this trip including 3 great hikes and biking the whole island. New favorite restaurant is Rudys in Maharepa, visited twice. Allo pizza is still our favorite pizza, drop in or order take away. The snorkelling and kayaking right out front of the villa is so beautiful! We spend hours in the lagoon. Sharks and rays every day. The beach is very private and quiet. The workout room is ideal for a quick workout if a rain shower comes thru. Romi did an excellent job keeping the villa sparkling! Thank you for another great Moorea visit!

This villa with its four bedroom, great kitchen with all amenities is the ideal place to stay in the island of Moorea. The beach is awesome and the lagoon is just wonderful I definitly recommend renting this villa
