“Very nice, modern hotel with beautiful lobby and pool. Check in was very slow though. Room nice, very comfortable bed. Unfortunately we had no hot water for some time. Took them a while to fix and after that we had no cold water :) Good situated, close to airport, close to town. Service is overall good and cleaning was ok but not excellent. Why? “Stayed for 2 nights pre-cruise. Nice and conveniently located to the port in the center of Papeete. Very clean and new, lovely bathroom and great beds, rooms are large. The pool in the hotel is quite small and there are watercycling-classes for people not staying at the hotel at least 2 times a day, but that seems to be a standard on Tahiti, it was a fact in every place we stayed in. "I had an amazing 2 nights stay at Te Moana Tahiti Resort and will definitely visit again for a longer time. + The location is fabulous, with stunning views of Moorea and the waves breaking over the reefs along the coastline. The staff are relaxed, friendly, and attentive. Special thanks to the lovely staff member who took care of me when I arrived very early in the morning after a 25 hour flight. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing and there’s a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks. There's also a natural ocean pool with corals and colorful fish. Beds are very comfortable. I appreciated the cooking and washing facilities, and of course the spacious terraces. – The vegetarian and vegan food options could be expanded, and it would be great if more drinking water were included in the stay."
