  • The cosy feel of this this 1667 Cottage has been modernised, but still retains its original features and character. A lovely base with easy access to Morecombe and other beaches.. Ground Floor:

The dining area is ideal for enjoying meals together, creating a homely atmosphere. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and all the essentials needed for preparing delicious meals. Enjoy the convenience of a well-appointed space to cook at your leisure. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, providing a refreshing start or end to your day. Step outside to the enclosed garden, a peaceful haven for relaxation. The garden also features a shed, perfect for securely storing bikes, making it easy to explore the surrounding area on two wheels.

    For days out, a 10-minute drive takes you to Morecambe Bay where you can enjoy a day by the sea, with its beautiful promenade, sandy beaches, and traditional seaside attractions. Lancaster Castle is only 15 minutes away, offering guided tours, exhibitions, and stunning views over the city of Lancaster. Seagull Cottage is located in the old part of Heysham and has been beautifully updated whilst retain

Seagull Cottage is located in the old part of Heysham and has been beautifully updated whilst retaining the charm of its age. Easy walk down to the sea to walk along the promenade towards Morecambe with views over the bay to the Lake District. A great place to stay and visit this part of Lancashire and beyond. Would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely few days here, Heysham was an interesting place to stay with some lovely dog walks nearby. The cottage was cosy and quaint and had a lovely little courtyard which was a sun trap. It was very well equipped, only missing a couple of items we'd have liked in the kitchen. A lovely bowl of fruit, flowers and a carton of milk and bottled water in the fridge were a pleasant surprise.

We have just returned from our 3 week stay at Seagull Cottage.

We have just returned from our 3 week stay at Seagull Cottage. This 357 year old cottage is wonderful. The house is surprisingly spacious and due to the thick walls, it is warm on a cold day and lovely and cool on s hot day. This is something our modern house is not. We enjoyed the stay and the property had all the mod cons, with many new appliances and ample high quality bedding, good WiFi and a fabulous shower. Mobile phone signal in the house was not good due to the thick walls, but when I learned that I can change the settings on my phone to make calls through WiFi, my phone worked as normal. The setting us perfect. Just a few steps to a local pub and restaurant, a proper cafe just around the corner and the wonderful Heysham Barrows with views of the lake district and St Peters church which is a beautiful church overlooking Morecambe Bay. Parking is on street just around the corner or there is a huge pay and display carpark with free parking for blue badge holders. We would definitely recommend Seagull Cottage to our friends and family.
