“Fabulous property. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We chose this house over others because it had a kitchen table that was perfect for setting up games on and another dining table to eat on. Kitchen very well stocked, comfy furniture and lovely garden to sit out with coffee or G and T’s. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a house away from hustle and bustle.”

“We had a lovely stay at bank house cottage . Veronica and Alan made us feel very welcome . The cottage has beautiful views all around and is so clean and cosy. Would definitely recommend the hot tub it was very relaxing after long walks. The Stork pub serves great food and is just few minutes away 👍”

“Charming lodge with a fantastic hot tub and log burner. The place is nice and warm and private (I think the bushes have grown since the other reviews!). We did reverse our car up to the top of the drive, this blocked off views to the garden. Short walk into Cartmel, Grange isn’t too far either.”

“Spacious, clean and well specked. Enjoyable stay and would recommend. Only stayed a couple of nights so didn’t have time to explore but from what we did see, Poulton looks lovely.”

“We had a really enjoyable stay at Woodpecker Cottage. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and 60th anniversary, there was plenty of room for all 13 family members inside the property and we enjoyed the outside space using all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms/bedding/towels all lovely and clean. We would recommend a stay at this property.”

“This is an ideal cottage if you want some peace and tranquility within a picturesque location. The living accommodation is on 3 levels so be aware there are 2 flights of stairs to get to all the amenities. The cottage kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, etc you need and the living room and beds make for a very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We loved our stay at this property. It's a ground floor cottage fronting onto Morecambe bay and it is super peaceful, the views are amazing as the sea comes in and out, and the bird-watching opps are brilliant. Sparrow hawk swept through the garden, oyster catchers, plovers and others were in the bay. The cottage is lovely at a basic level so don't expect great luxury. That suited us fine. The sunroom looking onto the bay was so relaxing. Walks along the beach are a bit tricky although the...

“The Old Chapel was a delightful apartment. For us, a couple, it was perfectly presented with all the facilities one needs. It might be a little cramped if there were four adults staying. The access driveway to the property was a little narrow in places. We have an estate car and we only just squeezed through the gaps between walls and other buildings but as had been said before larger vehicles could be left in Hutton Lane.”
