“We stayed with our 5 month old baby and it was perfect. Loved the whole experience - the apartment was modern, very new and clean, with a minimalist design that felt homey, all the amenities were so stylish and thoughtful (the washer-dryer was super efficient and not too loud). good soundproofing in the bathrooms too so no issue about waking baby up. Super spacious, which was great - really felt like home for a week. The staff were very responsive and reliable. Location was wonderful, off a...

“Best hotel in Japan, the bed litel hard for my wire but thats more personal. This is the place we going for next time in Japan !”

“Very clean. Staff was SOOO helpful and polite. Great stay for english speakers. Location is perfect for experiencing the city, Ueno park, Ameyoko market.”

“Loved it. We have booked to come back. Location is excellent for best train lines to navigate Tokyo and proximity to Ueno park to relax”

“Check-in was a bit glitchy but otherwise a great and quiet stay. Clean and stylish and in an older part of Tokyo that was a welcome change of pace from”

“Loved staying at Tabi Ueno Tokyo. It was clean and modern with a Japanese feel. Given we had a small child, having a washer/dryer in the room was fantastic. The location was great, we could walk everywhere and about 5min walk to Ueno station, the Ueno Zoo, markets. Easy access to trains required for day trips. Would definitely recommend Tabi Ueno.”

“Great location!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The neighborhood was nice and not as busy as the city center, which we appreciated. The hotel is also conveniently located near the train station. The dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. There are also convenience stores like 7-Eleven and FamilyMart very close to the hotel. The room could get a bit warm. We used the air conditioner, but it didn’t cool the room as much as we expected. ”

“There is occasionally a bad smell coming from the toilet.”

“Everything was fine but it sounds a lot from the trains passing just outside. If you want to get the view that the hotel has shown in its pictures, you need to live quite a few floors up. One thing I'm unhappy about is that the hotel wanted to be paid quite a lot to offer us an earlier check-in even though the room was ready.”
