With a full agenda we decided to see if we could check in early, mainly to get our key as we would be back late after reception closed.
We arrived at 12.15 and were told we could check in early for a $50 fee. Or we could come back at 1.30 and check in early at no cost.
We chose the latter and went for a coffee.
We do understand that checking in early is at the hotels discretion, but obviously the room was available so the fee did seem excessive.

“Upon arrival, Pauline at reception was a sweetheart and made a personally difficult trip much easier. Very kind and helpful. We had a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom suite which was very large and very comfortable. The room was clean and stocked with some tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. The full kitchen is perfect for long term stays. The only issue are the showers. Very odd design, one had no door at all and water would end up all over the floors.
