There is a pub below the accommodation but there is no issue with noise. The food is very good quality and plenty of ir. This pace is my ‘go to’ on business to the North East ”

“Quaint old world style Food was excellent and room was very clean Staff were very friendly The one downside was that there was no parking but that was the same for all hotels in that area I could have spent all day looking at the shipping artefacts in this inn Would definitely return for another stay ”

“An overnight stay needed before a uni offer day at Durham., I just wish we could have stayed longer. Clean, comfortable, everything you could possibly need and the views ! Hopefully the uni offer will be accepted and I can stay again for a while longer !”

“We had a lovely overnight stay. The staff were very welcoming and informative. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, our wee one especially loved the bunk bed. We booked in for dinner which was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend. The area is beautiful, we will definitely be back! ”

“Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above...

“Lite svårt att hitta men när det väl var funnet så visade det sig vara helt ok. Bekväma sängar och bra varmvatten i duschen. Lite "sköt-dig-själv-boende" men det har jag inget emot. Nära till affär och ett stort shoppingcenter samt pub runt hörnet.”
