The accommodation is immaculately presented and has the convenience of being all at ground floor level. The living room and kitchen/dining room both have lovely arched windows where the extensive landscaped grounds can be admired, or take a gentle stroll to the riverbank and watch the Coquet ebb and flow. Refurbished in 2021, every room has been newly decorated, the bathroom has been totally re-tiled, there is new artwork and all soft furnishings have been replaced. Guests are treated to a welcome pack which contains free range eggs, scones and jam from the local bakery, fresh milk, treats for dogs and a picnic set for day trips. Wren Cottage sits in a tiny cluster at High Weldon, only 9 miles north of Morpeth where there is an abundance of good restaurants, shops and inns. Beach 12 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
