Every thing was so like brand new that I even conveyed to the owner that I was afraid to scratch or dirty anything. I asked the owner why he put "just basics" in the description. “Convenient, attractive downtown location for walking. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The floodlights were annoying. The rooms were broken up in an awkward manner. The furniture was totally wrong for us seniors: high table and chairs, a sofa that put us so far down that it was nearly impossible to get up. The "smart" television was too tricky to navigate. All we needed were the basic channels.”

“My husband, daughter and 2 1/2 yo grandson enjoyed staying here! A very large place, clean and Pam greeted us upon arriving to take us up to the apt. to explain a few things. We loved being able to walk around the property to see the horses, donkeys and goats. We would definitely stay here again if coming back to this area!”

“I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals over the years that fell short of expectations. Not this one! This rental was without a doubt the cleanest room I’ve ever rented. Tina and Randall were very welcoming upon my arrival and made me feel at home. Everything about the rental was wonderful. It worked great for what I was in the area to do. Had great conversations with my hosts and was offered many tips on great places to dine. I feel I’ve made some new friends! Highly recommend. No disappointments!”

In urgent need of renovation
"We did not in anyway expect a fancy hotel but it was not cheap and we definitely did not expect this. Everything was old and very worn. The sink was cracked, the faucet leaked, only one the bed side lamps worked, furniture was chipped, the security chain on the door was gone, the mat was disgusting, damp with stains. We can only assume other rooms have been renovated or it is impossible to understand how this hotel can have as good reviews. There are no restaurants other than a Dennys within walking distance. But there is plenty of parking and close to the marina if you are bringing a boat. Also, the room was impressively clean for being in such bad shape, it must be a nightmare to clean."
