“A nice B&B with an old host, a unique kind of building from 1909 with lots of old furniture etc inside. The room was fairly small, they lowered the temperature during night, I had to get up early and it was a bit cold in the room in the morning. Few places to sit outside the room at 6 am. The surroundings are in the better end but still close to some fairly rough areas”

“The look and feel of the accommodation. Loved the Christmas decorations made us feel in the Christmas mood. The breakfast was nice and the dining area was aesthetically pleasing with nice views ”

“The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 ”

“Check-in was very quick. Parking is just behind the hotel in a city car park. Our first room Moreton was awfully small/narrow for two people. We couldn’t leave a suitcase open, because it was impossible to pass. The bed was also old and we were both rolling towards the middle. Luckily for us staff Simon offered us to change room when he heard me complaining of my bad back. Simon upgraded us to Acton Trussel which was totally different. Big and comfortable bed. “Very nice hotel, only downside is that the doors are quite thin so you can hear noise coming from the hallway. Bring earplugs and you’ll be fine. Nice location and beautiful garden. ”
