Trevligt boende, bra service. Vacker utsikt, fin terass. Rent, centralt i den lilla gamla delen av byn. Mycket bra frukost och mycket bra restaurang granne med hotellet.

Great hotel/B&B
Great hotel/BnB with beautiful location on top of a little mountain. The included breakfast was really good, and I am Swedish so I have my requirements. The rooms are nice and the so are the bathrooms. There is a large terrace on the second floor with a lovely view over the valley where you also can enjoy your breakfast if you want. Free wifi and parking quite close to the building. It was a bit tricky to get up on the mountain but definitely worth it. Just be sure to book the room in advance (no drop-in) so they let you up. I really recommend Villa Borgo!

A quaint B&B located on top of the mountain where we stayed for a night. Helpful and friendly staff, room is in decent condition but the bathroom could do with some work, had to close the door during the night due to smell. Otherwise, good price for what you get and decent breakfast.

Motovun is a tiny village with very few hotels and restaurants. The old.town is pedestrian only so parking is 'down the hill' and the hotel car picks you up. We had a valley view adjacent to communal terrace. Hitel does a great.job ahutting terrace.down at 10 pm for noise control. Super.friendly staff and a.bonus - well.stocker honor bar in lobby w chilled beer, water, local.wines. corkscrew handy, did not need to ask. Even supplied quality glassware!

Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Motovun
Wir haben die Vila Borgo für eine Nacht in Motovun gebucht. Hervorragend war der Shuttle Service vom Parkplatz. Es empfiehlt sich jedoch, mit wenig Gepäck zu reisen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer unter dem Dach, was bedeutet, dass man mehrere schmale Treppen nach oben muss. Diese sind teilweise etwas zugestellt mit Lampen für die Terrasse etc. Durch die kleinen Fenster ist das Zimmer selbst tagsüber recht dunkel, abends kann man jedoch den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Leider konnten wir die Klimaanlage nicht nutzen, da sie direkt über dem Bett installiert ist und auf das Kopfende des Bettes bläst. Wir hatten ein neues Bad, jedoch mit wackeliger, da nicht passender Klobrille - schrecklich! Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum aufhängen von Handtüchern etc. im Bad. Der Kleiderschrank im Zimmer war etwas abgewohnt. Leider gab es wenige Steckdosen. Die Kopfkissen waren toll. Absolut empfehlenswert ist das Frühstück, u.a. mit leckerem gegrillten Gemüse, es gibt aber auch frisches Obst, Joghurt, Wurst und Käse. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und spricht perfekt englisch.

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Borgo. The room is a bit small but very clean and equipped with everything you need. Very good quality beddings and linen. Breakfast was amazing! They offered freshly made omelette every morning and you can even have it with truffles! The view from their private balcony is breathtaking. You can see the entire valley from there. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony. Great location where you can walk to pretty much everything in Motovun tho parking can be challenging since it’s a small town with very limited parking. They offer a pick-up from a parking lot to the hotel so you won’t have to carry your luggage yourself.

Villa Borgo is a magic place in a wonderful medival town. Most people come from the coast for a day-trip or one night. I stayed here with my parents and my teenage daughter for five nights, and we didn't regret it at all. The medival streets of Motovun are not easy to walk for elder people (like my parents), but also here the staff of Villa Borgo is helping tremendously, by example by transfer to the parking lots. The staff is absolutely great and extremely helpful, they made our stay especially enjoyable! And they prepare a wonderful breakfast with the best scrambled eggs ever, normal style or with truffles! From the terrace of Villa Borgo, you have a perfect view on the valley, and at night a perfect sundown. We were sitting a whole day on this terrace, enjoying the view, the people passing by, and the drinks that are served by the bar on the other side of the street (B5, connected to Villa Borgo). Before 9 am and afzer 9 pm, you can walk the medival walls for free - don't miss this!. Food is not cheap in Motovun, but it is worth it, it is of very high quality - and you will most probably never eat better truffles! They prepare everything with it, from truffled omelett and truffled pasta (both around 12.- to 19.-) to truffled pannacotta (!). I am quite positive that my first visit in Villa Borgo was not my last one!

The Villa Borgo is all about the staff and service. Our room was just ok, and we didn’t like climbing three flights of stairs coming and going…but the building is what it is, and they have a lovely terrace with an inc red double view. We ate well, with a freshly made breakfast for us, and great local restaurants. Plus, chocolate in their espresso!

Great night in Motivun
The hotel is really clean. Our room seemed freshly renovated, bed and mattress were great quality. The terrasse is stunning for sipping a glass of wine and for breakfast. I strongly recommend the truffle scramble eggs, delicious. On too if that the staff is super friendly. For parking, you can call the hotel and they will come and pick you up (there are 2 parking lots at the bottom of the hill) and they will pay the parking fee. Awesome service.

Spectacular Gem of a place!!
Had a wonderful stay here. We’re recommended this place from friends who have stayed here number of years ago and it did not disappoint. Very clean, the breakfast was spectacular and the service was exceptional. Rooms are quite tiny but are made up for with the spectacular views, wide-open Terrace, and very comfortable family dining room

Cute little hilltop medieval town. Ate at Mondo had a wonderful experience there. loved the view from our hotel. Staff was amazing and a great little breakfast was included. Would highly recommend staying there just be warned it’s a quiet little town, but great for relaxing

Highly recommended.
GPS does not work. Needed this call hotel where they told us where to park and met us there to transfer to hotel. Very friendly staff, clean but small rooms. We kept our windows open as we went for a walk and to dinner. Unfortunately we came back to bugs in the room. Screens would be nice as the view was to beautiful to close off. Delicious breakfast of eggs with truffle sauce on a terrace with a beautiful view of the truffle forest. Great location!!!

The best breakfast in Croatia
Slavin , the owner is a wonderful host. He really wants you to enjoy your stay. The property has a great deck for breakfast and cocktails with sweeping views of Istria. And, the breakfast. One of the best breakfast I have ever had. Highly recommend.

Ein nettes Hotel mit bemühten und freundlichen Angestellten. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Die Frühstücksterrasse hat viel zu wenige Plätze für die Hotelgäste. Also entweder kurz vor 8 da sein oder viel Geduld mitbringen.

Very nice
Everything was super! The only thing was that they didn’t change the toals next day and they still were completely wet when we went to get shower. Breakfast was very good, the bed was amazing and the tub excellent. All staff was great.

Excellent stay
This place was great and I am so glad I stayed. Sercice was top notch and breakfast was excellent. Most covid conscious hotel I have been at. Anyone staying in Motovun should stay here.

Familiär mit toller Terrasse
Motovun ist ein Geheimtipp für Gourmets, und Villa Borgo ist mittendrin, familiär, mit spektakulärer Terrasse, jederzeit Wasser und Kaffee, eigenem Weinlokal gegenüber. Die Zimmer unterm Dach haben leider nur kleine Fenster ohne Aussicht oder Aufzug und mit und dünnem WLAN, aber man wird sowieso seine Zeit auf der Terrasse oder in den Trüffel-Restaurants verbringen.

Charming bed and breakfast with GREAT BREAKFAST
Goran was such a great host! He promptly picked us up at the parking lot after we called and helped with our luggage up to the hotel. I guess you can walk yourself but we had luggage and it was late. Really not an issue for this matter- it is the charm of staying in a hill town! Check in was easy enough- we stayed in the building opposite the main check in building. The view was of the cobbled stone streets below which had its charm. The room itself is very new and modern unlike what it looks like on the outside. Breakfast and sunrise from the deck was amazing! Was the best breakfast of our breakfast whole trip! Loved this stay so much! We recommend so much!!
