“Stayed in sunset overwater bungalow. Worth the money. Great facilities. Best breakfast buffet in my life, seriously. They had everything and then some, in HIGH quality. None of these bulky buffets where the taste is mediocre. Here, everything was amazing. Coral garden was ok. Stand up paddles were good. Jet ski tour was loads of fun. Service was top notch.”

“The pictures look much better than the reality. The hotel is old and worn out. The service was the most disappointing thing though. I understand the worn out furnitures etc due to the climate and general state of hotels in the area. But the service was poor. Would barely help with restaurant reservations - and when going down to reception to get help, the man working got annoyed I came down for help. He even told me to talk to the restaurant myself and handed me the phone from reception....

“The rooms are located on the inland side of the road, while the reception and amenities are by the sea. I loved the room decorations and design with a 70s style. The bed is comfortable, and there is a daybed as well. The surrounding grounds are lush and beautiful. The hotel has great bikes for rent. If you walk or bike north of the hotel, you can reach abandoned luxury hotels and enjoy views over the mountain. “Bungalow sehr sauber und schön. Jedoch in die Jahre gekommen und könnte insgesamt ein schönes Design vertragen. Personal war wirklich top. Frühstück überragend. Insgesamt sind jedoch immer Kleinigkeiten die Vermeidbar sind. Service im Restaurant ist sehr verbesserungswürdig. Strand vor den Bungalows sollte von Ästen befreit werden.”

“This accommodation is a private room adjacent to the owner’s home. The location is excellent for exploring Raiatea and joining local tours. A good small grocery store is just steps away, and a large Carrefour in town is within biking distance. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom feels new, clean, and fresh. Outside, there is a seating area with chairs, a table, and patio umbrellas, offering views of the lush green mountains. A few friendly and adorable dogs stop by from time to time,...
