It was an unseasonably warm and wet winter weekend, and the driveway / parking areas were muddy, so just a bit of a warning for other guests to expect this.”

“The house was very nice and comfortable for four of us. Even though it rained each day, there is plenty of nearby shopping. We always try to do short term rentals when we travel. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms. There was no hot tub and two full baths. There was no welcome booklet with local restaurants, points of interest, wifi...

“Grandmas cottage was just as described and really felt like visiting with grandma. The location was superb with an easy access to the trail into town. The views of the water from the porch were astounding. Overall a great stay and will definitely try to be back during the warmer months.”

“My wife and I recently returned from a 6 night stay at the property. Our visit exceeded our expectations. The cottage and grounds were exceptionally clean. The cottage had everything we need for a great stay ! The on-site boat launch with dock and pet friendly property were definitely a deciding factor when we booked our trip. “We spent a lovely restful week at the cottage. It was a great to have the water just steps away, and the available kayaks are a definite bonus! Such a calm, peaceful lake to paddle around on, just big enough with no fear of getting lost. The house had everything we needed and then some, and Scott was a wonderful host, very responsive and made us feel very welcome! Thank you!!”

“My family enjoyed our stay. The first 2 days, the house did not have hot water. The first time we called, we were told "it's not one of the listed amenities". Neither is the roof, but we sort of expect it. We were told someone from the local team would call back. We waited at the house, in case someone would come to fix it. We called again. Still no return call. We finally gave up and went out to enjoy our vacation late in the day. The next day we called again. Waited again. Finally we received...
