“We loved our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge. Though the rooms are not glamorous, the location was great and the staff absolutely outstanding. Every single staff member was attentive to our needs. They made our planning effortless by arranging everything for us. They greeted us with smiles and were knowledgeable of local flora and fauna and enjoyed sharing their knowledge with us. “I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

“Amazing place, guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the land and the Mayan culture. The food was delicious, and the place was just beautiful. Onsite hikes in the rain forest and floating the river in inner tubes are well worth it. Also worth seeing the Mayan ruins and cave exploring were well worth it.”

“Vi blev uppgraderade till en svit nĂ€r vi anlĂ€nde-underbart! Vi fick en 100% introduktion av Lisa i receptionen och fick dessutom nöjet att guidad av Ă€garna i den botaniska trĂ€dgĂ„rden. Otrolig!!! De egna tvĂ„larna var fantastiska, ostarna likasĂ„. Servicen och den fantastiska miljön var bĂ€ttre Ă€n nĂ„got annat vi upplevt. Extra plus för den roliga poolen, jacuzzin, basketspelet och bordtennisen. BĂ€st av allt var waterfall/cave expeditionen som var enastĂ„ende. Vi Ă„terkommer snart Josette & Markus”

“Beautiful Property! Rooms were clean and well kept. The food was great, the pool area was very nice. But the real gem of this property is the Staff, Shakaria at the front desk is AMAZING! She helped us get a tour for the Cave tubing and zip line all set up and it was one of our favorite thinks we did in the Jungle. The night hike is a fun thing to do with the kids. The Staff at the restaurant were wonderful. Everyone was great!”

"I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The location is PERFECT. Right next to all the tour operators, the town square, restaurants, the market, the bus to Xunantunich, etc. The bed was really big and comfortable. Slept like a baby. During a month of travelling this was by far the best sleep we had. The room was quiet and dark as well, and AC provided perfect temperature for once. The room was equipped with a fridge and a freezer, which we loved. It was so convenient. "
