“This was our favorite vacation home we’ve ever stayed in! It’s so open yet cozy with the way it’s set up & decorated with photos from the area. Plenty of counter space, hooks to hang things, a washer & dryer, little “extras” like homemade maple syrup, bottled water & ketchup in the fridge. Coffee, cream, sugar & tea bags to boot. “Cute, quaint 3-bedroom, small but old cabin. The hottub was very big and relaxing and the backyard view of the trees, firepit, and pretty pond were nice. The hosts placed wildflowers in a vase as a nice touch and there was coffee and standard kitchen utensils, although the kitchen is small. There's 1 full bathroom, a half bath, and a shower in a closet. Also, it's an old house so there's 2-prong outlets everywhere”

“Cons: Not motorcycle friendly. I would be very cautious with a normal sized car also as the gravel road leading to the property was long and uneven. Torn up livingroom chair on the back porch was odd. Livingroom furniture looked like old second hand furniture. Seemed like they bought one of the cheapest models of hot tub. It did the job though. Not all windows had coverings. The neighbors who had to drive right by could easily see everything inside the unit at night. Pros: very quiet. Can see...

“We had a great stay. We had cellphone service for text and calls with Verizon. Make sure to bring flashlights as it gets pretty dark out at night when going to the car or fire and you can trip on wet grass. Town has an amazing coffee shop with amazing food called Gran Robbies!! 😋 The scones were so good.”

“We really enjoyed our stay in this glamping tent. Even with heavy rain, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the hottub because the outside areas are covered. The tent stayed very dry as well. We did not receive check in information prior to arrival, but this was easy enough to figure out. I would recommend this place to others visiting the area.”

“We loved our weekend in the tree house. Perfect location for exploring the area. Kitchen was fully stocked and functional for the small space. Took advantage of the grill one evening but due to the heat we did not use the hot tub. Back deck is perfect spot for coffee & breakfast. The only downside was the distant road noise”

“Loved this little cabin, was everything we were looking for. Private, clean, quiet, affordable and a big area for dogs to run. Owner responded to messages very fast. Cabin was stocked with a full kitchen, had everything you could want down to a waffle maker. Will definitely stay again in the future!”

“My family and I loved Joe's property! I brought my two dogs with me and I cannot tell you how nice it was to be able to let them off leash to explore his amazing property without having to worry about other people or dogs! His property is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the woods and creek. Listening to the symphony of peepers at night under the stars while relaxing in the hot tub was fantastic. It was a close enough drive to get in all the hikes we wanted to do at New River Gorge...

“We came down to visit New River Gorge. The cabin was in a great location for what we wanted to do, only 15-20 minutes from several hikes. The owner was nice and was easily available when needed. My only complaint was the hot tub on the property was a little temperamental and could have been cleaner. The cabin was nice and clean though.”

She was so accommodating as we were driving 4 hours to come. So easy to work with. The stay was cozy, there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the cabin was clean and stocked with amenities. The property is extremely pet friendly. Our dogs had a wonderful time. “This house fit our family perfectly. The kids had plenty to do with the game room and the large yard. The adults enjoyed a game of pool and the hot tub. The getaway is conveniently located to hiking, the beach and Fat Eddie's. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.”
