“Robert was an outstanding host. Wonderfully cute place with amazing views and fantastic hiking trails close by. Highly recommend this place. ”

“La Petite was lovely, impeccably clean, and very tastefully decorated. The proximity to town is perfection. One note to those bringing a dog: the internal spiral staircase is narrow and could be treacherous from some dogs; our dog did not want to use it and even if she did, I wouldn't be comfortable with her using them to go downstairs. Fortunately, there is an outdoor staircase that leads to the bedroom/bathroom upstairs and that is what we used to take her upstairs at bedtime. It was...

“A small cabin for 5 people. Beautiful cabin for a quick trip in Idyllwild.”

“The hobbit house is a very charming home. It’s been beautifully remodeled, and the grounds are perfect for making dinners at home. It is walking distance to everything that you might need in Idyllwild. And most importantly, in my opinion, the property manager/owner was only a phone call away. When we needed anything at all, we could contact him and he responded. This is very important in my opinion. Highly recommend! It’s a great place to stay.”

“Adorable stay”

“Trodde att det skulle finnas en reception, den enda anställda på anläggnkingen var en städare. Efter en telefonkontakt me bolaget fick vi en info hur vi skulle komm in. TV:n fungerade inte, rapporterad detta men gick inte att få lagad. Imorse hade vi en massa smådjur i vår brödpåse! Usch.Dörrhandtaget på insidan av dörren till toaletten ramlade ner på min fot”

“Great place and location and host”

“We enjoyed our stay. Grateful that it wasPet friendly. The picture online is very misleading however. We thought we were at a completely different home. It would be appropriate to post a picture online that is true to the decorations, etc. just saying. The real thing compared to the photo is misleading. But overall, we were happy to sleep there for the one night. ”

“Google Maps takes you down the street and has a little bit of a hard time finding it. However once we arrived it was great.”

“This place was even better than the pictures.”

“Interior: furniture worn or very cheap. Need of major overhaul. Cracked/ peeling paint. Baseboards in a bad state of repair. Bathroom had mold. AC was pretty inefficient in the main area. Kitchen was good.Exterior: backyard pretty unusable. Has not been tended to for years and in major disrepair. Patio furniture broken or ripped. Gas grill unusable and dirty. Dog poop everywhere. Overall impression: The unit has ample space for 4, but needs major repairs. Everything is overly dated. The backyard...

“To everyone thinking about staying at this wonderful home, with wonderful hosts. Don't think or wait. Book ASAP! Just an absolute pleasure to be at this home. We are coming back.”

“We enjoyed our stay. We loved the trails and beautiful views on the property. The house is very comfortable. It is located very close to all our favorite wineries and restaurants.”

“The house initially looked clean but wasn’t. We put our grandson in his mobile walker while we unloaded and unpacked and when we were done, the bottoms of his feet were black. Under sinks not clean, lots of debris and dead spiders under the bathroom garbage can so that floor was also not cleaned. We all have spider bites and we killed multiple spiders over 3 days. It made us question the cleanliness of sheets and towels. The back patio was gross so we didn’t ever sit outside in the evening....

“Great spot!”

“Place was just we expected! My kids enjoyed the pool so much. Only down side I could say is there is no shade whatsoever outside to sit if your not in the pool, so it makes it super hard to be out there without getting a really bad sunburn, also the sheer curtains in the living room once the sun starts going down, it’s hitting you straight in the face in the dining and living room area.”

“This was one of our favorite properties we have ever stayed at! It was beautiful both inside and outside and felt like a true resort. The windows looking out to the awesome pool and view were amazing. Both sunrise and sunset were fantastic. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and we utilized the indoor and outdoor space well. We loved spending time relaxing at the pool and was a great reprieve from the desert heat. We appreciated the property concierge meeting us at check in and...
