“This is a really nice house. My friends and I stayed here for a weekend as home base for the Speedway Classic since most places in Bristol were booked, and it provided a great place to do so. Very close to a grocery store and local restaurants. The backyard is also very nice!”

“ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.”

“We come to the area annually to visit our family and only wish we'd found this spot sooner! Clean, convenient and spacious. We have younger kids and a dog and the park across the street was a great bonus, too. Easy access to all that the area has to offer. Kelly was super responsive and helpful throughout -- we can't wait to come back! ”

“This house has been newly renovated and was very cozy for our family of 5. The location worked very well for all that we wanted to do in Boone and West Jefferson. Found some great spots for food including: Third Day Kitchen (great views and serene) and the Dough Shed (immaculate restaurant that had a fabulous, well stocked buffet even in late afternoon). We were there in a bit of a heat wave and did find the lack of central AC a little hard and the multitude of newly installed light switches...

“Very nice cabin. Well equipped for cooking and dining in. Easy driving access to West Jefferson, grocery, golf course, and the river but secluded from traffic. Clean upon arrival, easy wi-fi access and strong signal. ”

“This North Carolina rental was the perfect quiet, rural escape! We absolutely loved the peaceful surroundings and found it to be a truly relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a plus. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind. ”

“We could have sat rocking on the porch forever. The weather was perfect as we watched the sunset, with a mother deer and fawn in the grass below. The hot tub, fire pit, grill, and table also made it nice to be outside. Inside was plenty of space for our family with a large kitchen and two family rooms. There were many sweet touches, such as a 4th of July themed basket and cozy pillows and blankets. The owners were very responsive and great hosts. We would love to stay again, although in winter...

“The property was as perfect place for our quick trip to the mountains. Near Blowing Rock and App Ski Mountain. The house was clean and easy to access. We liked using the outdoor fire pit on the cold evening. We loved the house and will be back in the future.”
