“What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! ”

“The private beach is a plus. Gets packed for a few hours when the folks from cruises come. By 2pm everyone leaves and you have the beach back all to yourself. The food was great and the staff were very attentive”

“The place itself is fairly nice. Fairly inconvenient having to check-in elsewhere and get to and from the front desk, but not a big deal. My issue is the property has tons of cameras and I do believe my wallet was taken from the desk in my room while I was sleeping. My fault for incorrectly locking the door when I got in to the room for the night. My issue is the place has cameras everywhere, boss was there and he refused to actually check the cameras to see if anything happened. He knew I was...

“My room was comfy, large with a refrigerator holding beer for my consumption. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bath with walk in shower perfect. The pool is excellent in design with floats available and water seating. The resident cat and birds and turtles and rabbit are wonderful. Everything is first class in this hidden tropical paradise!”

“If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.”
