I enjoyed my stay for nine nights. Owner provided everything for a relaxing, no frills farm stay. Her attention to detail was excellent providing all the comforts like home. Netflix was an added bonus, so I watched *The Crown* - also enjoyed most of the tennis finals of the Australian Open.

Magic Spot - Everything You Need
What a lovely find! Really enjoyed the peace and quiet and so handy to the Ferguson Valley wineries. Magic fireplace for those cool winter nights, enjoyed watching the sunset. Bird feeders attracted the birds. A good kitchen and bathroom. TV a bit awkward to watch, but wasn’t a deal breaker. Hosts were super lovely and very accommodating. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Picturesque cabin on a gorgeous farmstead
We stayed for an extended weekend with our two year old for our anniversary weekend. The cabin and surrounding was beautiful! We loved the comfy bed, enclosed yard, friendly alpacas and chickens, and gorgeous paddock walks. The fire pit worked amazingly to roast marshmallows while stargazing. We highly recommend and knowing there is a lodge as part of the property means we can come back with a bigger group of friends in the future! We loved it!! Vicki was very quick in communication and has a lovely eye for detail. Well done!!

Relaxing, breathtaking..perfection.
Cosy, comfortable cottage with everything you need. Luxurious bed and even towels. Vicki did not skim on toiletries & consumables. SHe used good quality and environmental friendly products. Even noticed the dish washing & laundry liquid was of good quality where most other hosts just use the cheapest products available which does not cut the grease. Pantry stocked with Milo & Hot Choc. What a lovely sight. LIttle things that makes you go.. "Aaaahhh... " :) Whole house is secured with fencing to ensure a safe running area for our little furbaby that travelled with us. Glen Mervyn dam was just a close walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and post-operation recovery holiday. Thanks, Vicki. Keep it up. We will visit again! xx

So relaxing
The property was exactly what I thought it was going to be the photos really show what to expect. The cottage is clean and cosy but doesn’t have a stuffy small felling that can happen with spaces similar to this. My sister and I loved our stay her and we had so much fun visiting all the locations around like the Wellington dam and black diamond lake but we also took advantage of the dam close to the cottage itself. Thank you so the lovely stay :)

Beautiful Cottage in Mumballup, Collie
This 1 bedroom Cottage is a great place to rent for a couple. It’s peaceful and very secluded. Amazing sunsets and waking up to the birds chirping is lovely. Enjoyed the walks down to the dam and we drove into Collie Central and had lunch at a cafe and walking around looking at different shops. We recommend this place for coffee and food. We recommend this place below Wagon 537 81 Forrest Street, Collie WA 6225 It’s worth checking out Collie it’s got so many things you can do and see.

Great location

Lovely cottage
What a lovely place to stay. Some peace and quite. We had a lot of rain this weekend but that gave us time to relax and enjoy the fireplace evenmore. Love the lama's cows and chickens and waking up to the birds singing. Will be back in the summer to be able to enjoy the farm x

Tranquil little get away
Was a lovely quiet little get away. Cows were so friendly and loved a good cuddle. Loved being able to light the fire pit when it was cold. Bed was very comfortable

quiet getaway
lovely remote farm stay. we enjoyed waking up each morning to the cows and llamas. beautiful sunsets in the evenings. the home had most of the necessities and a really comfy bed. vicki was a lovely host and easy to talk to. we would recommend a stay here. thanks vicki for our privacy also.

Peaceful, relaxing.
Homely, very well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee etc. The bed was very comfortable. The shower nice and hot, with shower gel, hair dryer and towels . Other extras provided such as torch, insect spray, Scrabble etc. No wardrobe but three coat hooks. We loved the very close proximity to the farm animals. Meals at the nearby Mumballup Tavern were excellent. We would certainly stay here again. Recommended if you want stress and tension to melt away.

Best stay I've ever had
5 stars all the way. Vicki stayed in contact all trough booking and confirming. It was the MOST welcoming and warm arrival at this beautiful house. The fire was on and the house smelt beautiful. The bed was sooo comfy and sitting outside for breakfast watching over the greenery.. i will never forget and will be back again 😆 KV

Recommended as a place to stay in the Ferguson Valley.
A picturesque and very pleasant place to stay if visiting the Ferguson Valley. The chalet is cosy and comfortable, with a pleasant outlook from the sheltered verandah. Close to wineries, tourist attractions and good cafes.

Covid lock down strikes again!
We were so looking forward to our getaway to Vicki's property - then sudden Covid lock down was applied the night before arriving. I emailed Vicki, who was not aware of the lock down, who was very understanding and organised a full refund. Will rebook at a later stage.

Enjoyable stay

Blue Birds and Dreamtime
The facilities and set up were a welcome and comfortable, relaxing retreat. Located in a quiet corner of a lovely rural property where Blue Wrens flew and played within the Fig tree and bushes.

Great and relaxing country stay
We very much enjoyed staying at Vicki's cottage. It is a little out of the way, but that is just what we wanted - walks along the trails near the house, exploring the forest areas nearby for orchids and just relaxing in the quiet of the country. The cottage is large, with a large bathroom and suited us very well. Vicki kindly provided a cake to get us started and the cottage really has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Our (very minor) quibbles are the location of the TV (we oldies can't twist our necks so easily any more) and the raised fireplace platform, where we stubbed our toes a few times at night.
