"Location is great, close to everything. Resort area is big and nice. Only bad thing is that you will share the villa with a whole zoo, somehow all critters like ants, mosquitos and even bigger ones like geckos and frogs seem to get in even when doors are kept close. Having this traditional Balinese style house looks good but it does not seem to be sealed very well"

"Bodde i rom 228 och det är troligtvis hotellets sämsta rum. Mycket oljud från gatan - trafik, folk som skriker och hundar som skäller. Dessutom insyn från fönstret, fick ha gardinen fördragen hela tiden. Inga mörkläggningsgardiner. Poolen är minimal och det finns ca 5 solstolar. Bra frukost och trevlig personal dock."

"Ett litet personligt och mysigt hotell. Ligger en bit ifrån Ubud centrum. Shuttlebus x 3/dag erbjuds kostnadsfritt av hotellet. Spabehandlingar och yoga erbjuds mot kostnad. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående. Fint poolområde. God och riklig frukost. Rekommenderas."

"Ubud Village Hotel was extremely welcoming the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and the pool and restaurant area was beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and did everything they could for me to have a pleasant stay. We were going to leave for a new hotel in Uluwatu the day before a big holiday in Bali which made it difficult to find a driver and all taxis were fully booked. I was a bit concerned about how to get to Uluwatu and the reception worked hard to find me a driver. Eventually, Aditya in reception went out of his way and called someone he knows to drive us all the way to Uluwatu. I am eternally grateful for this. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Ubud for the helpful staff, the location and the great facilities. "

"Bästa hotellet vi har bott på. Fantastisk miljö där man bor i jättefina rum med utsikt över kaffeplantagen. Känns som att man bor mitt ute i regnskogen. Väldigt god mat och superbra service. Vår bokade taxi dök inte upp morgonen vi skulle lämna hotellet och då fixade dom en ny på bara några minuter för ett bättre pris trots att klockan var 6 på morgonen. Dom var duktiga och lyckades fånga upp att vi var där för att fira vår femårsdag och bjöd då på efterrätt och fixade till en fin hälsning i vårt rum med blommor och choklad. Överlag kändes dom väldigt genuina och omtänksamma. Finns mycket att se och göra bara på hotellområdet och dom har också bra utbud på utflykter i närområdet inklusive olika vattenfall. Spat var också super. Vi gjorde även en tur runt kaffeplantagen och fick lära oss kaffeprocessen. Kändes betydligt mer äkta och bättre än turistfällorna kring Ubud. Skulle definitivt rekommendera detta boende om man vill komma till en häftig och lugn oas av lyx borta från kaoset i turistorterna. "

"At first glance the place looked great and met our expectations. However after checking in and seeing our rooms and the different facilities we were a bit disappointed. The reception staff we talked to initially was very nonchalant and we did not feel welcomed. The rooms are worn by age and it is obvious the place has seen better days. If you want a cozy, relaxing jungle visit I suggest a more modern resort. If you want more action I suggest booking something closer to Ubud as the daily shuttle service is always delayed by traffic."
