“The check in staff support process is lacking. The support is a call center outside the US. They are reading off a script and can't really help. It is the second time that when booking boutique or non known hotels from Expedia that the check in process is lacking and there is no support. I will be wiser in the future - twice bitten ”

I did try to light a fire , but found the lighters were unusable and there were only two matches. As she informed us ahead of time, the road up was very challenging. Maybe a few more directional signs would help. The views were spectacular, and the surrounding areas were as well. Besides the lack of lighters, we had everything we could need. We enjoyed ourselves very much”

The Peak-A-View Mountain Retreat was the perfect place to stay during our time at the John C. Campbell Folk School. The cabin is clean and cozy and our dog enjoyed the fenced back yard. ”
