“The sign out front is slightly confusing in that it says something like "Old Priory Camp". But checkin info was right there on a table inside the front door. Stayed in one of the Miners rooms (around the back) again a few seconds to find the access, but clear instructions provided to follow, Very nice rooms. Check out the shower! ”

“Amazing set up with an old Victorian decor and nice facilities. Breakfast is terrific and the hosts Jim and Heidi are next level good. They make your stay so nice and nothing is too much trouble. We would stay here again without hesitation.”

“In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!”

“Chris is the most wonderful hostess. We travelled with a dog reactive German Shepherd and Chris made us feel welcome but ensuring our dog's interactions with other dogs were kept to a minimum. The accomodation is lovely and i would have loved to stay longer (i will do so in the future).Our dog was secure, she was allowed inside and we had everything we needed.Chris's homecooked breakfast was 10/10! “the property is in transition (on the day) to a new owner - the room didn't have a tv, a fridge, a table, a chair to sit comfortably or coffee - the toilet seat was broken - when we arrived it was if we were unexpected - certainly not what we expected for $300 - don't submit this review please as the new owners need time to get things sorted”
