“Had a great 2 nights stay for 3 people for a 60th. Hosts were lovely and commutative. The cottage was gorgeous and even better than expected. You’re only a 10 minute river walk to town. Beds also have a heated blanket!”

“Beautiful house, which was large and very comfortable. Wonderful little touches like breakfast cereal, milk and juice for the first morning. Lovely coffee machine with beans as well. View was lovely to just sit and watch for hours and so quiet. Perfect location for a break.”

“A fantastic little getaway. Tara Cottage was a perfect space for a quick little overnight stay in Daylesford. The place was immaculate, all the amenities were provided from oversized towels to a coffee machine, lots of choices on the TV and a comfy, warm space. Check in was easy, Prue is a wonderful host and we felt very safe and comfortable at the cottage. We didn't bring our dog on this trip, but the food and water bowls (plus treats!) were a welcomed amenity had our pup joined us. Really...

“A lovely little cottage to stay with our pup, who loved the yard space to run around and explore. Close to several nice bushwalks and all that Daylesford has to offer. Great little kitchen with coffee machine, and appreciated the coffee and wine! Also was still cool enough to take advantage of the cozy fireplace. Spa was out of order but they let us know in advance. Overall had a really relaxing stay and will likely return in the future!”

“Lovely getaway however we did not realize we would not have total privacy. The cottage is directly next to the owners and the pool and front area was shared. House was clean, great TV and beautiful scenery Would have liked more privacy , not a criticism of the owners however I was under the impression all Stayz accomodation was private and not AirB&B”

Felt at home immediately, the team did a wonderful job with the fire already lit, lights on and some welcome surprises (chocolate, wine, local sourdough…) highly recommend this place.”
