Short, easy walk to beach access right at the end of the street. There was a cart at the house to load all your beach gear on. House was very dog friendly. Not a lot of knick knacks and things for them to knock over with their tails. Front porch has a gate at the top of the stairs.

We did encounter issues daily with ants and placed call and was told someone would come and spray the next day but did not hear from anyone and no one showed up. We finally went and bought some ant spray to get by.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have used Garden City Realty many times and have always been happy with our stay. However, we were very disappointed in this house. The carpet was completely nasty; furniture was dirty and uncomfortable; one matress was unusable it was so uncomfortable; blade on ceiling fan in one bedroom was about to fall off; ceiling in one bath was leaking whenever it rained and dropped popcorn ceiling all over bathroom; glass on front doors were nasty; it reeked of cigarette smoke. Very disappointed!

Reviewer Comments: We have used VRBO for the last 15 years and have always been very Please with the honest descriptions and the actual conditions of the rental property. This was one of the most dirty places we have ever stayed!!! Our rental was from Saturday to Saturday and we ended up leaving on Thursday because we just couldn't stand it any more. From Saturday to Thursday we only sat at the dining room table and slept in the master bed with all of our own linens. The house reeked of pet smell and was cleaned (if that is what is considered clean)very poorly. We spent the 1st day there going to buy cleaning supply and cleaning the place to make it even possible for us to stay there. The pictures of the rental are obviously from years ago, because they DO NOT represent the current condition of this nasty rental. We will not sway from VRBO again!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is so cute. Had all we needed. Only issue was that linens we had ordered were not delivered. We drove 11 hrs, got in about 9:30P.M. Unpacked some things and then had to call emergency no. so towels and sheets could be delivered. Jerry came ASAP and was as nice and professional a person that one could hope to meet.(Thanks, Jerry!)He also returned the next day to replace the filter and clean the air return. It really needed it. All in all,it is a nice, quiet area, close to the beach, and we enjoyed our stay there.

The carpet had a huge stain on it. One of the beds which we didnt stay in had a bent leg broken But could have been from the renters before us.We will try to rent this house again.

The weather was really hot but we made do, love that central air. The carpet needs to be cleaned. There was a lot of traffic, haven't been down there during the summer in a while. We always like to go to Hamburger Joe's, Broadway on the Beach, and Hwy 55.

Needs some TLC-someone was supposed to come replace the air filter while we were there and did not, definitely due for replacement. The first night we experienced a strong mildew smell and we had ants off and on all week. Carpet and upholstery definitely need updating.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I didn’t check in early first of all. The house was dirty there were ants in the guest bathroom enough that my grandchildren wouldn’t even go in there. Housekeeping came on Sunday after making a complaint as well as maintenance to address the ant problem. It took three days for the ants to move to the master bath and kitchen. Missed the first day of my vacation waiting on housekeeping and maintenance. Ended up with multiple ant bites on my legs as well as on my grandchildren’s legs. This was not the quality that I’m use to renting from Garden City Reality. Will definitely consider other options next year.
