“Me and my boyfriend came to aveiro for two nights to see the city. This arts house is a small art museum with a private tour that takes about 15 minutes during check in. The room was super clean with air conditioning and a very good vibe. The place felt very welcoming and the staff were very nice. It’s also in an amazing location, 2 minute walk from downtown and right beside the aveiro museum. “With this hotel as a base, we could walk anywhere in Aveiro. The canals are only a minute or two away on foot. The staff was very courteous and helpful and they served a decent breakfast. However, our room was a bit run down, although clean. I think that the hotel could use a slight facelift. Our hotel voucher indicated that there would be some sort of private pool or hot tub, but there was none. Not a big deal, but it increased our expectations a tad. Not sure if it's Hotels.com, the...

“We haven’t been in an HI hostel in a long time (in our 70s) but were very happy with our overnight stay in HI Aveiro. Staff were lovely, the room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent. We walked to it from the bus station via the beautiful park. Not many eateries in the immediate neighbourhood (apart from a McDonalds almost opposite) but only 15 minutes on foot to the many restaurants/cafes in the town centre. ”
