“As the high standard requires for a hotel such as Intercontinental it really meets expectations. Exceptional service all over, from the booking department to reception to SPA and bar. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and the location is great - close to the train and bus stations and just 30 min ride from the airport. Ljubljana is walkable and the hotel is just an easy 10 min walk the city centre.
If they would have specific time slots for children and families in the SPA that would be...
“Rent och fint, passade för oss som var på genomresa. Något långt från närmaste parkering. Svala och tysta rum. Bra läge, nära till stan. Ok frukostbuffé men undvik att sitta närmast kaffemaskinen. ”

The breakfast was very simple, far from the better we have had.
It's next to the hospital so we heard the ambulance and the helicopter but not during the night so that was not a problem.

The rooms have no AC and since it’s a capsule it’s completely inhumane to stay in a capsule without AC or windows. We were several people that slept with the doors open to get some air from the common area.. we had to go out several times in the night to breath.
The support/service was terrible.

“First of all the hostel is located on a bus garage in an industrial area, was kind of difficult to find with the entrance being on the backside of the building. Second was very poorly cleaned. All the surfaces in the kitchen and bathrooms was disgusting, with crumbs, grime and dirt. The shower curtain was too long so it never properly dried which caused the shower to smell and feel highly unhygienic. The beds were okay but there was a lot of dust, crumbs and food scraps along the sides. There...
“This is a room in a shared apartment with 3 bedrooms. The bedroom door rattles loudly when opening and closing. The window is missing a curtain, making it impossible to sleep in the dark. The bed slats are too short and fall down at the slightest movement. Finally, the owner made us pay an additional fee for a 6th person even though we were 5. Avoid!”

"Bodde två nätter i en kapsel. Väldigt tunn madrass och det blir ganska dålig luft där inne även om fläkten är på högsta nivå, annars funkade det bra. Dusch+wc inte alls så illa som recensionerna säger om man tänker på hur många som använder dem varje dag. Bra läge och bra lounge att hänga i vid receptionen. "

There was one guest who walked around in nothing but underwear and the host didn’t seem so care about this, nothing we have experienced at other hostels. The host wasn’t present particularly much at the hostel but he had cameras inside, in the kitchen, which he seemed to watch a lot. "
