âExcellent hotel, my only complaint would be the Peninsula food service.
We ate at the Shanghai Terrace our first night on site and honestly the food was only 2 stars. Specifically the appetizers were minuscule, and 90% pastry dough. Whatever filling was supposed to be inside all the dough largely wasnât. The whole Peking duck was arranged haphazardly on the plate, the skin was not really crispy, and the taste experience was completely lackluster.

âWe had a perfect view straight down the Chicago River! FABULOUS! Staff was kind and helpful. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. I couldnât recommend this hotel enough! Iâm ready to go back!!â

âThis is an exceptional hotel. The rooms are clean. The service is impeccable, and the products!! The signature scent is to die for. It is now a part of my life. I had to buy a candle on the way out and have already visited the online store for body wash and lotion. Well done. There are a lot of choices in Chicago, but this is now my go to. Will definitely be back!â

âBra hotell, framförallt bra lĂ€ge centralt med gĂ„ngavstĂ„nd till mycket. Bodde pĂ„ 20:e vĂ„ningen med fin utsikt över staden. TyvĂ€rr var frukosten ganska trist och framförallt var allt pĂ„ frukosten inpackat i förpackningar och till det anvĂ€ndes engĂ„ngstallrikar och plastbestick. Det drar ner betyget. Det tar mellan en vecka och tio dagar att fĂ„ tillbaka depositionen vilket Ă€r rĂ€tt skumt.â

âThe position of the hotel is fantastic. The staffs at the desk were helpful and their services were wonderful and appreciated . However there were dust and stain on furnitures and countertop and the the call reciever at the housekeeping was not so helpful in the beginning. Contemporary interiordesign, complementary coffe and tea, space and comfortable soffas made the lobby the main attraction at the hotel. The room was good. âBy far the best apartment we have ever booked with Hotels.com Very spacious, nice furniture, quiet and very well equipped kitchen. Nice personel at the desk, easy virtual check-in without any hassle. Lovely rooftop pool. Nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants close by. Rating should be 11/10â
âQuite close to Red Line stop Chicago 5 min walk. Close to plenty diffrent restaurants with walking distance. Only negative was their breakfast service no buffet as you often got on hotels and $27 for some scrabbled eggs, two sausages and fried potatoes. Well itâs even more worth to go to closest Starbucks for a better start for your morning â
