“Beautiful property, well decorated and beyond accommodating hosts. Very reachable, well organized, fully stocked kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed indoor fireplace, outdoor Norwegian hut which we used for fish dinner. If looking to experience the country side of Wales this is a great find!”

“Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. “We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was very cosy and well equipped. The setting is stunning with beautiful countryside and a haven for wildlife. It was lovely to see the otter and so many different birds, the woodpeckers being our favourite. Angela and Shaun have obviously worked very hard to make this into a special place to come and stay. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Sitting in the hot tub, overlooking the lake is a blissful way to enjoy a glass of wine...

“A lovely place to stay within in reach of plenty of great places to visit. We went to Rhossili Bay, the Mumbles and Tenby.A shame the pub in the village is shut!Overall great stay and milk, tea, Welsh cakes and wine waiting for us on arrival.Very dog friendly.”

“The cottage is cosy and warm and has all the necessary facilities to have an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well appointed, the shower has good pressure, the beds are comfortable and the Netflix (and lots of other channels) worked well. The wifi reception isn’t super strong however it worked fine. There are lovely walks from the property and Neath is close by. There is comprehensive info on local shops, history and restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend.”
