Newly renovated March 2023! - South Hampton at Kingston

Welcome to Destination Sunshine! South Hampton is located OCEANFRONT in the prestigious 145 acre Kingston Plantation Resort. Our second floor unit (207) is one back from oceanfront and features 3 private balconies perfect for watching sunrise or enjoying your favorite beverage at the end of the day.

NEW TO THE RENTAL MARKET, this condo features a full size kitchen with granite countertops, washer/dryer in the unit, and many other appliances. Recently renovated in January 2022 to replace all carpet in the condo with laminate flooring and a complete master bathroom remodel in March 2023 to include a modern tile walk in shower with grab bars and a built in seat. It is perfect for everyone including those with physical challenges as it is equipped with elevators, automatic building entrances, pull bars in each tub/shower, one portable shower chair, and a handicap friendly beach access (no steps!). Guests will enjoy linen services complimentary with their booking that include sheets, towels, washcloths, and kitchen towels but BYOBT (bring your own beach towels) as condo towels are not to be removed from the condo. We apologize to all of our animal lovers who have furry friends, due to HOA restrictions, pets are not allowed in the condo at any time.

After a day of sun, surf and sand you can retire to the master bedroom suite with its own private balcony and ocean views. Sleep comfortability in your king size bed as you listen to the rolling waves. Bedroom two has ocean views, private balcony and 2 queen beds.

While staying at Kingston (a gated community with 24/7 security), you can enjoy some of the resorts finest amenities such as the South Hampton private outdoor pool. South Hampton has 3 elevators, automatic building entrances, luggage carts and outside all one level parking. We have a direct beach access ramp with no stairs. There is a walkway connecting the South Hampton lobby to the Embassy Suites, if you're looking for a great location for a meeting. The Embassy has a restaurant/bar, coffee shop, light snacks and a couple of small boutiques. There are a few other onsite restaurants/bars, seasonal entertainment, walking paths, lagoons/lakes with different wildlife to enjoy and a half mile OCEANFRONT boardwalk that connects all amenities.

This condo features access to two oceanfront pools located on the east and west side of the building. Although access to the new Hilton splash park opening in July 2022 is reserved for those who book their vacation through the Hilton hotels, guests who reserve through Destination Sunshine will enjoy all of the other amenities Kingston has to offer and competitive nightly rates you won't find anywhere else in Kingston!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!!!Host was excellent and so was the property!I've stayed in many different VRBO properties over the years, and this one far exceeded the others in terms of cleanliness and the effort in making sure the home was well stocked with ALL kitchen appliances, dishes, silverware, vacuum, brooms,etc.....even the nice touch of a personal arrival welcome card and a premium dark chocolate bar !!!(thanks especially, since I'm on KETO). We will definitely be back on the first chance we get!!

Family Fun Vacation

We had a great vacation. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had a minor issue and he responded and resolved it very quickly. Overall wonderful vacation.

July 4th Getway

Condo & surrounding property were both well maintained & clean. Condo was well equipped & pool was lovely. Easy access to the ocean, dining, shopping, & activities. Josh & Wanda were very kind & responsive. Check in & check out processes were simple. Great 4th of July getaway! P.S. People do put off fireworks right on the sand/oceanfront.

Spring break getaway

The condo was very clean. Originally had an issue on entering but communicated with Joshua and he resolved it. Area in garage level had beach items that were supposed to be accessible but were not. There are many activities and restaurants within a short drive away Overall it was a good spring break!

Multi-generational Family Vacation

Joshua’s condo was perfect for our family of five (two 60-somethings, two 30-somethings, and one 8-year-old). No one had a single complaint! Clean, comfortable, spacious, well-appointed, and most importantly for us, handicapped accessible. Also, a storage locker with extras for the beach! Although we didn’t meet him personally, Joshua was an excellent host, friendly and available to answer questions by phone.

Perfect Beach Getaway!!

My family came with me to a conference and we had a fabulous time! Views from the room are great! Walking distance to pool and beach is just a few steps! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay! We would love to book again in the future!

Condo was beautiful. Perfect location.

Condo was decorated beautiful and location was perfect, just steps to the beach and 2 pools. Everything was as advertised. Clean and beautiful and very spacious. Beds were comfortable and that’s hard to find when vacationing. Beautiful views from the Balcony. Host was quick to respond with any questions I had. Kingston Plantation is a huge resort with lots of amenities. We can’t wait to stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini Family vacation. I highly recommend this condo. It’s so convenient to the beach and pools.

Best Vacation

This was my first time using VRBO and Josh made everything easy and seamless for me. He answered all my questions promptly and made sure I had everything I needed for the condo. The condo was beautiful and clean. It was stocked with towels and kitchenware so we could cook our own meals. This room was perfect for our family. We will definitely book again.

Womens conference getaway

I would have to say this is the nicest condo I have ever rented. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and furnished w all the necessities! Best location in Myrtle

We stay in Myrtle Beach several times a year and this location is one of the best we had stayed on. A stone away from the pool and the beach you get best of both world at this location. No need to drive to the beach and get sand in your vehicle. The unit is perfect for a family with two full bathrooms and enough space for everyone. The views of the beach off any of the four balconies with a cup of coffee or wine. You don’t have to go far to eat and shop. Definitely will be going back to enjoy this condo again!
