Room was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. A little frustrating that the amenity list included an airport shuttle (it was the reason we booked) only to find out that there was no airport shuttle. Property itself was a little run down and needed repair. Overall it was fine for one night

They were under renovations at the time of my stay however the ice machine/water fountains were out of order, the room ac was very loud and front desk service was average. Stayed here to visit family in Conway, could have stayed closer to the beach for the same price.

First of all, this was NOT a Holiday Inn, It was Country Inn & Suites. Our suite was filthy, dead bugs on the floor, mold and musty odor throughout. Went to front desk to complain and they said they had no other rooms. I had a child with me and was not about to stay in a bug-infested, dirty hotel. We left and I tried getting refund which took almost a week and hotel still declined the refund from Expedia but Expedia helped. This hotel was horrible and wouldn't recommend it to a dog. Poor service, dirty and smelly rooms. Just a horrible experience. Never will return and advise you to stay away as well.

First, this is no longer a Holiday Inn Express but a Country Inn and Suites that is under extensive renovation. There is construction happening in the lobby, breakfast area, etc. There was no breakfast available, even though it was advertised. This may be a good place to stay when construction is finished, but not now.

Room was disgusting. Blood and urine on the pull out couch. Cracked mirrors in the bathroom. Sticky substances on the dresser. My kids were horrified that we had to spend 8 hours there. No amenities available as described on Hotels.com. Also, I booked a Holiday Inn. This place was a Country Inn suites. DO NOT STAY!

Everything, the idiots at expedia think that this is a holiday inn and it is not. Looks like the curtains were used at toilet paper. Mold is all over the room. Smells like the worst musty sour odor that you could imagine. I couldn't stay here. Walked up to the room and straight back down to the desk.

Being remodeled? Should probably be demolished.

The hotel wasn't actually a Holiday Inn Express, but was actually a Comfort Inn & Suites. The beds collapsed if I sat on the edge, the carpets were stained and disgusting, the spa tub had no faucet and could not be used, the breakfast was subpar, and the pool was closed which was probably because the water was green. The staff was helpful and friendly, it was fairly quiet except for the barking dog down the hall, and the A/C did work pretty well.

In the middle of redoing the whole building, and no effort made to accommodate customers with room offered, towels, and construction supplies in plain view- offered and absolutely bad room that smelled like an ashtray and was just dank and had a hot tub in the middle of the room. Was given another room that was completely redone and was very nice. We are an older couple and how the first room offered was suppose to be an appropriate room is beside me. Property was covered with trash. Did not feel safe. The elevator smells like mold and sounds like it needs serious attention. Towels were folded with obvious amounts of hair inside. Wont be back and do not recommend.

Not a Holiday Inn express false advertisement!

Do not book this hotel. This is not a Holiday Inn express it is filthy. It is disgusting and it looks like it has never been cleaned before. I did not stay here and had to book a different hotel. This place should be shut down. I looked at the room and I immediately left.

This property received an average 8.0 rating of very good. It should be rated about a 6.0. No matter what hotel somebody stays in it should be expected to have a clean bathroom, clean sheets, clean towels,, and clean bedding. It appears very little maintenance is being done on this property. It looks rundown. Inside the room, bathroom lights had three burnt out lights, the heat didn't work, and the toilet leaked,

Gross disaster

First of all, it’s not a Holiday Inn Express - It’s now a Country Inn. The decor is dated. As I entered my room, I was immediately met with an extremely funky smell. When I sat on my bed and looked up, there was mold on the ceiling! Completely unacceptable situation.

We booked and paid for a Holiday Inn Express and got stuck with a Country Inn. We didn’t find out until we checked in that it changed hands. The hallway carpet and elevators were filthy. The pool wasn’t open. The drinking fountain wasn’t working. There was no coffee in the room and the keys didn’t work. It’s not what I’ve ever experienced from Expedia.

Don't think you're getting what is pictured

1) The name of the hotel is now Country Inn & Suites, NOT Holiday Inn Express. This caused a big confusion 2) Carpets/walls were all dirty, every floor (I walked all floors). Carpets don't appear to be vacuumed 3) Pool Closed 4) Work out room had a broken AC unit, on the 5th floor, in the South! Felt like a sauna, so couldn't be used 5) Water fountains broken 6) Ice maker broken 7) I don't see anywhere in the advertisement the mention of pets. Dogs were allowed. Our first room smelled heavily of wet dog. Had to switch rooms. Multiple dogs were there. I like dogs, but you have to let me know they are allowed I can understand why a lot of these issues are not going to be fixed because an employee told me that next month, they are changing names again to Comfort Inn and that they will be going through renovations. One good thing is the proximity to the beach and Murells Inlet.

Weekend stay

Nice hotel. The breakfast was good and the elderly Lady that worked in the breakfast area was super nice and was diligent keeping the area up. Ten minutes from Myrtle Beach and cheaper.
