âI have not been to many properties in Matheran, but I would say this is an ideal property for a fun vacation it is located over from the hustle and bustle of the city and you feel like youâre in the quiet hills cottage.
The property is old, but very well preserved and staff is very courteous and very helpful. It is just an amazing fun to sit in the morning or in the evening at the swing and listen to the birds chirping.
Even if you donât stay here, you should come here to eat the lunch or...

âCottage room was very comfortable with all amenities. The room & bathroom were very clean. Air conditioner was not noisy & sleep quality is good. The bed linen is clean. Tea-coffee corner is well stocked. Great ambiance and lawns. Lots of natural trees and beautiful flowers â
âNot even get Ice in hotel. Light issue is their those they have back-up system but AC is not working on back-up only ceiling fans are working. Dinning facility is not available in hotel.â

âThe property is new (started Jan 2025) so everything has the 'fresh' character to it.
We stayed here for 8 nights in Aug 2025, in the middle of rain season so everything around was green..the mountain view from the room was pleasing and aesthetic.
The food was great. The entire staff was great in their "eager to please" service. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and always available to help us on short notice. Will surely visit again and recommend others as well..

"Absolutely stunning place. The staff are very helpful and patient. The room was supposed to be in the wing but we ended up in the main building in a beautiful room. The breakfast buffet was more like lunch or at the very least a big brunch. There aren't any maps of the building so we had to ask for help to even get out of the hotel. The pool area is worth visiting, even if you don't want to swim. They had lighter, less expensive food, drinks, deserts and for those who need it I noticed there is a smoking area in the pool lounge. Felt safe due to security controls on every person who entered the building.The whole experience was really memorable and one of a kind."
