In quiet cul de sac located at 18 mile post off the beach road, 800 feet to the beach and ocean. The house is well maintained, and mostly rented by repeat renters. The 2nd floor is the Great Room/Kitchen and large screened-in-porch...a favorite place to enjoy the breeze, views and quite. 1st Floor - 3 bedrooms and Sleeping Porch. Ground floor has utility room with washer/dryer, extra refrigerator, Two large outside showers, swings, picnic table, fish cleaning station...one of many comfortable hang out spaces.

Beautiful home with excellent hosts, filled with charm and nestled in a really quiet and family friendly neighborhood. You could feel the history of the home told through poetry and pictures on the wall as well as photo albums documenting the house as it was originally built, and the family who treasured it. I found myself fascinated by that and it really added to the home’s unique feel and character. Hosts also really made sure the house was stocked with everything you could need.

Fully stocked home

We enjoyed staying here. The house is very comfortable with lots of natural light upstairs in the main living room and kitchen. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch and watching the birds. The house is very conveniently located to many activities in Nags Head and Pea Island. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation so you don’t have to bring anything! Everyone was happy!

Perfect accommodations for our family of 6 which includes teens and young adults. Very well-stocked home. We especially enjoyed the two outdoor showers and the large supply of beach towels. We loved having all the beach gear provided so we didn’t have to buy or bring any beach gear to have a comfortable beach vacation.

A great get-away

We made our first trip to the OBX and stayed at this property. Communication with the host was outstanding. It was clean, orderly and well stocked. It had everything you could ever need. Since we were there after Labor Day the roads and beach were not crowded at all, which we appreciated. Definitely recommended and would stay again when we venture back to OBX. Also, since it is in Nags Head it is centrally located and an easy drive to multiple areas.

Wonderful Host

This was the perfect house for our family… we felt so at home. It was a lovely house, very clean and well stocked. We cooked a lot and any pot, pan, dish or utensil was there… It was a short walk to the beach in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host Stacy was super responsive and so kind. Thank you!!!

Amazing Spot!!

This place was amazing!! Where to begin? Beautiful home, appliances, furniture, everything was very up to date and well stocked. Plenty of kitchen supplies, linens, towels, etc. Everything was labelled so well!! Our family felt the layout was very intuitive and we didn't find ourselves lacking any appliance or other beach essentials. Can't beat the spot, very close to the beach, a very quick walk. Two outdoor showers!! This was super helpful when bringing kids back from the beach that wanted to shower simultaneously. Highly recommend this place, we certainly hope to return in the future if we are able to. :-)

Nags Head Fishing Trip

This was the second year in a row we rented Chicago Connection for the Surf Fishing Tournament. Fishing not so good but house was fine for the 6 guys. Quiet location except for the garbage truck at 4:30AM!

Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood

With everything that is provided, we felt so welcomed. There is plenty of room and is on a quiet street. We were able to have fun, relax in the beach and I enjoyed reading on the deck.

Large family home with beautiful kitchen and Very well stocked

We where very happy with the house. The kitchen and upstairs were very nice. There was some disappointment with the master bedroom. I call it a master bedroom because the bathroom is part of the bedroom. The shower is not big enough for an adult to shower in. The beds could be a lot more comfortable. My sister and her husband stayed with us for a few days and agreed on the beds. Would I recommend this property to friends, or stay there again? Yes I would, if the beds were upgraded.

Well stocked in every way: kitchenware, beachgear, paper products, cleaning supplies etc. Great Wifi service(5G) our sons were able to work remote utilizing several of the great spaces. Great open upstairs area with wonderful views

Great property and location

Our first trip to the Outer Banks, we were very impressed with this property. Location is great, just a short walk to the beach and centrally located on the Outer Banks for day trip excursions in the car. Fully stocked with everything you need for the beach--chairs, toys, boogie boards, towels, and two outdoor showers. The upstairs and deck are very bright and nice views (you can even see Bodie Lighthouse in the distance). Nice kitchen and outdoors grill if you want to save some money by not eating out for every meal. Overall highly recommended.

Comfortable and Well Stocked

We had a great time at the Chicago Connection. The owners have thought of everything. We enjoyed our stay and found the home to be comfortable and clean. The sleeping porch was a favorite hang out to read books and just hang out. I loved the screened-in porch for family dinners and morning coffee. The wifi connection was great and seemed to reach all locations of the home. If you sit on the back porch, you can catch the sunset. If I had to make a recommendation it would be that the bedroom level could be updated; but this certainly wouldn't deter us from renting again! I don't think you'd be disappointed to stay a week or several! I'd also say the owners are readily available and answered all of our questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous place to stay

The four of us had a great week in this fabulous house! Everything we could have possibly needed is in this house. It was nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood that was just steps from the ocean. We could always hear the ocean any time of day or night. We just love this place!
