Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay for the 3rd year in a row and have rebooked for next year. There was more discussion this year as the price is getting very high. We love the Nags Head area and the house fits us very well. We especially like being able to bring our dogs as they enjoy the beach as much as we do.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the set up of the house. It's perfect for multiple families. Loved having king sized beds in the rooms and how each bedroom had it's own bathroom! My only complaint would be that the furniture needs updating. The couches and chairs were old and not very comfortable to lounge around on after a long day on the beach.

For Us, the Cons Outweighed the Pros

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house met our needs for space for 8 family members. Restaurants, shops, and recreation were all nearby. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with plates, pots, etc.But the furniture is very worn. Sofas looked dirty. They advertised only showers in the bathrooms, but every bathroom except one actually had a tub shower combo. One of the reasons we chose this prperty wasthat i have had foot surgery and have difficilty stepping into a tub. The one shower stall was small. Several bathrooms were so tight they felt claustrophobic. Light bulbs were burned out in the living room. Batteties in several remote controls for the TV needed replacing. There were no trash bags. The soap bars supplied were wafer thin. At check out the dishwasher had to be emptied which made coffee or breakfast that last day difficult. The kitchen had no staples, not even salt and pepper. Seemed like they were cutting corners and not checking maintenance of the property. We would not stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arriving on Wednesday for my daughter's Saturday wedding, the location was perfect for her to come visit with her dog staying with us. We went to Jockey's Ridge to see the sunset and had dinner at Mulligan's and had mani/pedi at Polish Me. We enjoyed the pool once the clarity issues were dealt with and even got in the hot tub once.

Though it is an older home, it had every amenity we needed and the layout in particular was perfect for us with 3 small families and young children (fewer stairs, a bathroom for every bedroom, and the back TV room that functioned as their play room). The pool and direct beach access across the street were huge added perks, and we noticed this area around MP16 made for far fewer crowds on the beach too. Would definitely stay here again!

The management company responded quickly to request for pest control, rescreening of screen porch door, and burnt out lightbulbs. The pool, hot tub, and quick walk to beach were enjoyed by all. I don’t think anyone found the need to watch TV! Would recommend the horseback riding, kayaking for families with teens.Some sharper kitchen knives would be a great addition to the kitchen.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would give the house layout, cleanliness, and location 5 stars. We were very close to the ocean, good restaurants, putt putt courses, bumper boats, grocery stores, and just general shopping. The pool was larger than expected and very enjoyable. But I can only give the overall review perhaps 2 stars. The dishwasher leaked badly the first time we used it. A repair man came and said not to use it till we heard back from them, which never happened. The clothes washer was filled with apparently dirty water, so we could never use that. A repairman did come and leave a note saying not to use it. Since the master bath was only given one bath towel, we asked for more bath towels, which we received. Since we had to do dishes by hand, we asked for more dish towels and dish detergent, which we never received. The bedroom with the bunk beds had a musty smell. Also there were two burnt out light bulbs, the kitchen clock needed batteries, and the kitchen sink drained extremely slowly. These last items were not a big deal, but just indicate a general lack of oversight and attention to detail. I do wonder how the company could be unaware of these conditions, especially the two unusable and very much needed appliances. I would not recommend this property to a friend unless there were guarantees that they would be treated better than we were.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were overall very happy with the stay! This was the PERFECT house for 5 couples as every room had its own bathroom (amazing!). The pool and hot tub were excellent. Our only concerns were the linens were lacking (a few beds were only provided top sheets and NO mattress cover. We also had concerns with the draining of one of the baths. We did have a few kids with us and the stairs are way to wide for a baby gate which was unfortunate. Otherwise - zero concerns. Kitchen was well equipped. Would recommend to couples!

The house itself is in good shape, plenty of bedrooms with a bathroom in every room, an added bonus. The views of the sound and the ocean from the crow's nest are amazing, and not to forget the pool and hot tub in the back. All in all, this house has everything you could ask for - the owners seem to have thought of every little need you would have while away from home. Highly recommend this house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Our first vacation as a family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 11 people were comfortable for one week at this vacation home (6 adults, 2 children, a toddler and 2 babies). Having a bathroom for each bedroom was very nice. The pool and hot tub was nice for the adults during the babies nap times after being at the beach all morning. We thought we had a problem on our first day when we discovered our grill was broken. But before we could make the call to beach realty, a new grill was being put in our backyard. Thank you for a good experience. We will be back next year.

House was wonderful as usual with no complaints. This is our second visit to this house and is a great house for a fair price.
