Calling all boaters and watermen! Blue Crab Canal is the perfect choice for vacationers who want to supplement their beach time with other outdoor activities. This newly renovated, pet-friendly home is situated right on the canal and offers the best of both worlds - access to the Roanoke Sound as well as close proximity to the beautiful beaches of Nags Head. Use the community boat ramp (nominal fee) and dock your vessel right behind the house in the private slip. After a day at the beach or out in the boat, let the good times roll back at the house where the ground level has been transformed into an outdoor lounge area. Unwind with a cold beverage or fire up the grill for a canalfront cookout.

Guests who stay at Blue Crab Canal will have access to the Village Beach Club from Memorial Day thru Labor Day and on weekends during May and September. Amenities include an oceanfront Olympic-sized pool, kiddie pool, lifeguarded beach access, restroom and shower facilities, pickleball court, and a snack bar/cafe with a full-service bar that also serves lunch. Located just a five-minute drive from the house, The Village Beach Club is a one-stop, everything-you-need destination for a full day of fun in the sun for the entire family.

Old Nags Head Cove is a community designed for life on the water. Boating, fishing, kayaking, SUP's - the possibilities are endless. In addition to the canals and sound access, guests also have the option of purchasing daily or weekly passes to the Old Nags Head Cove soundfront pool. Additional community perks include a basketball court, volleyball court and picnic area. Pets are welcome at Blue Crab Canal, so your four-legged friends can join you out on the boat, on the beach or simply walking around the neighborhood!

Centrally located at Milepost 13 in Nags Head, Blue Crab Canal is within minutes to everything you'll need for a relaxing and memorable Outer Banks vacation. When it's time to hit the beach, two public accesses are nearby - one at Enterprise Street and another at Loggerhead Street - both of which provide free parking. Take a bike ride down the multi-use path that runs from Old Nags Head Cove to the Outer Banks Mall where you can browse an array of shopping and dining options, including two grocery stores.

Can’t stay an entire week? Blue Crab Canal is available for short stays and offers flexible arrival/departure options for those who like to plan ahead. In-season partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance, and guests can choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking at the Village Beach Club requires a pass, costing $25 per car per day. Membership questions can be answered and passes obtained by checking in with Village Beach Club staff.
