Ligger på stranden i South Nags Head är denna stuga enastående för sin äkta strandstuga känsla med moderna uppdateringar som gör din semester på de yttre bankerna en tradition och inte ett besök. . Inbäddat bakom sanddynerna med egen brygga till stranden och en soluppgång dynedäck, har stugan uppdaterats med Central Air / Heat och en helt unik utomhusdusch / badrum. Med 3 sovrum, stugan sover 7: med två sovrum, ett våningssäng rum med rulla säng och en futon säng i dynen för den farbror som visade sig oanmälda och snarkar. Om du undrar, finns det ett inomhus badrum också. Byggd på 1950-talet ligger denna stuga på gångavstånd från Nags Head Fishing Pier. Medan South Nags Head är eftertraktade för breda stränder och låg densitet utan kommersiell spridning, erbjuder bryggan utmärkt levande underhållning, fiske, bra räkor glada timmar och karaoke. Stugan är också bekvämt beläget några minuter från den berömda fiskeplatsen Oregon Inlet i en riktning och några minuter från Historic Manteo i en annan. För City Slickers är Tangor Outlet Mall också 10 minuter norr. Det finns ingen bättre plats på Outer Banks än South Nags Head för att uppskatta den autentiska stranden semester med minimal kommersialism och ändå ha tillgång till High Busy områden.

We had the absolute best week ever! Wonderful house that we fell in love with! Everything we needed for cooking meals with a well stocked kitchen. The access to the beach was perfect for an easy walk and hauling our fishing gear. Will definitely be back!

Had a great time fishing was not good but oh well. Every thing was as described but there needs to be a flood light on the front of the house and the back of the house. There also needs to be little lights on the walk way at the porch and the outside shower. It is very dark walking in from car or the beach but we love the cottage.

Little diamond in the sand

We vacationed for a week in OBX in Tangerine Dreams. This Outer Banks beach house is an original bungalow home. It sits behind a dune, but has a walkway to access the beach, directly behind the home. The house itself has all new LVP flooring throughout, an updated bathroom, all stainless steel appliances in kitchen, to include a full size refrigerator. Every bedroom now has a flat screen TV hung from the wall, plus one in main living area. We were able to cook meals without any issue with all kitchenware that is provided. We enjoyed much family time playing games we brought at the kitchen table when it rained one afternoon, while looking out the 3 windows in that area of the weather outside. There is also an outdoor shower and toilet, which are also all new. And super convenient. The location is convenient to get to Manteo or Hatteras areas, and is a nice trip to get to northern areas of beach, for restaurants and shopping. Jenette's Pier is about 2ish miles up the road as is one of our faves Sam and Omies. Fishheads Restaurant on the Outer Banks pier is about a mile up the road, an easy walk on the paved exercise trails.The owner is super responsive. We discovered a GFI outlet in bathroom was not working and he came and fixed it promptly. We also obtained earlier access to the house, than the late afternoon check in time, once the cleaners came through and finished. That was so nice and convenient! We only have positives to share! This was a wonderful stay, a hidden gem!

We had a hard time finding house from the road, because we were looking for tangerine! After we figured out the exact location we fell in love. We will definitely be back . Love, LOVE this house and location!!

Great beach cottage with more than enough room for everyone! Literally just steps away from the beach. Southern end of Nags Head, so the beach wasn't crowded at all! Super close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Only critique being I miss the Tangerine exterior!! Lol. Hopefully the owners will paint it back at some point. Overall, we had a great stay and we will definitely be coming back!!

Cute little beach bungalow

Cute little place nestled just below the dunes. Path from the house to the beach is very narrow. Also of note the house is no longer tangerine so we were a bit confused if we had the right place or not when we first arrived. Zach was very responsive to messages when an issue with the AC arose. The problem was fixed the next day. Don’t plan on sleeping in if you stay there anytime soon. There is a new house being built next door and construction crew arrives at 7am and is throwing around tools and loudly talking and yelling at each other. They start working at 7:30am sharp using chainsaws and beating and a banging all day long until dark. I was really looking forward to a relaxing week of sleeping in but that did not happen. Ladies, there are also no plugs in the bathroom for hair dryer or curling irons so you will have to do that in one of the bedrooms. There is also no washer or dryer in this house. Despite these little inconveniences we did enjoy our stay and spent a lot of time on the screened in porch.

Old School Nags Head Experience

We loved this little old school beach box. It’s got everything you need— but it’s not upscale/ recently renovated so take note. It’s clean, comfortable, homey, beachy and affordable. It’s not granite counters and cutesy retro appliances. Since we spent almost all our time on the porch or the beach- that was perfect! One tip is that there’s only really one spot for putting on makeup and using heat styling was tricky. With three toget ready, it was a bonding experience… That’s not a complaint— a tip for others!! Next time, I’ll bring a lighted make up mirror for our big night out. We’re grateful a place like this is available to rent and have a low key beach vacation in

You cannot beat the location of this cottage! Everything was clean and they house has great AC. We love the screened in porch in the mornings and evenings. Zac the host communicates immediately. So many great restaurants within a 10 min drive. We just LOVE this little gem! Until next time :-)
