This was our favorite stay while in Puerto Rico. The hosts were so helpful and kind. Any recommendations they gave did not disappoint. Not to mention their delicious home made breakfast served every morning. We were affected by the water shortage but the hosts made sure we always had gallons of water provided to help reduce any inconvenience. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

We had an amazing time in this relaxing country environment. The host was very attentive to our needs and the breakfast was awesome. We felt a lot of peace in the countryside surrounded by a lot of greenery and farm animals. The room was spotless and the bed and pillows very comfortable. We hope to return soon.

Jessica and Ruben are wonderful hosts! The cottage homes were super clean! If you want tranquility, you want to hear nature and truly relax, then this is a perfect spot. The neighboring towns were within 10 minutes drive and you can select from many restaurants. El hippie waterfall is a 10m drive to spend jumping off rocks into the water..

We had a wonderful stay here during our Puerto Rico trip. The location is beautiful and perfect for travelers looking for a more private and peaceful atmosphere. At night, hearing the sounds of nature and the coquí frogs singing made it feel extra special. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us recommendations for dinner spots and advice for exploring El Yunque. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed chatting with them each morning. The drive up is a bit rough but manageable and worth it. Also, the peacocks walking around (especially admiring themselves in their mirror) were such a fun touch. Overall, this place felt personal, peaceful, and like a hidden gem near the rainforest

Can’t recommend Tierra Adentro enough! We had transportation issues and arrived very late. Jessica and Ruben were incredibly welcoming! The suite was absolutely comfortable! Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The grounds are a beautiful and peaceful oasis, yet had full tech connectivity. Definitely worth the visit!

Our stay was fantastic and our host is phenomenal. We have some strict food constraints and she worked with us to make sure she prepared food we could eat. She was very inviting in letting us help her feed the goats too. The room is beautiful and it was fun to be in a little piece of heaven outside the rainforest. I highly recommend staying here!

This Bed & Breakfast is a hidden gem. Very clean and beautiful surroundings. We loved staying here and relaxing. The best part of the visit for us was the hospitality of the hosts, Jessica and Ruben. We shared holiday drinks and had breakfast with them. Fantastic, friendly people. (And Ruben is a great cook!) We would definitely come back!

A wonderful place, but suggest you have a a car with High clearance. The road is difficult to find & to traverse. Great breakfast & Jessica & Ruben are warm & inviting. This place is pure magic. We stayed 2 nights with our two kids (6 and 8). Very comfortable room. A symphony of rainforest creatures at night. Delicious fresh breakfast and the best company you could ask for. Great dinner recs. Our kids are adventurous and big energy and Reuben and Jessica were amazing with them. Highly recommend!

The owner, J, was extremely knowledgeable and willing to share. Breakfast was delicious! The plantains!!! We received information about dining and recreation options. Distinctive location and accommodations. Right next to El Yunque and close to the coast and the ferries to the islands. Although this was a unique experience for us, we recommend this Airbnb for individuals, couples and families who are seeking an a-typical Puerto Rico stay!

Jessica & Ruben are exceptional hosts, the property is quiet and borders the southern side of El Yunque National Forest. We had a rental car which is necessary to get around and we had no problem getting to the north entrance of the rainforest. We preferred staying at this Beautiful B&B to see the real Puerto Rico, the peaceful serene location away from the hustle & bustle of the more crowded tourist areas cannot be beat!! A thousand thanks to Jessica & Ruben for helping us truly relax and enjoy the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in the Naguabo region.

This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. There were plenty of lunch and dinner options in the nearby town. Google maps is accurate but it is still very tricky to find the turn off from the main road. Drive slow up the driveway.

We definitely would stay again

This place is a hidden gem. Jessica and Ruben are wonderful and gracious hosts. They are very close to ceiba (20mins) and a easy 1hr drive to the main area of the rainforest. I should also mention the food. I think they got a little nervous to learn that I am chef. However their food is top notch. Unfortunately this is a bed and breakfast, so we only got to enjoy one meal a day from them. My wife and I would have been more than excited to have more meals with them. They treat you like family.

You should stay here.

It is an amazing property with phenomenal folks. We had a great time sitting and talking and learning about the area and Puerto Rico. We left not only with a greater appreciation for the country, but also a huge list of recommendations that are going to take us more than one trip to get through. You just cannot beat the experience of staying here. Both my teenagers enjoyed it, they said it was one of the highlights of our trip, so that in itself should tell you how great it is. Food was really good, and the ambience was so nice, it’s hard to overstate how comfortable you can be right at the edge of the rainforest. The night noises of the forest seem to be right at your door, and yet you get hot water and air conditioning.

Couldn’t have been better! Ruben and Jessica were exceptional hosts - very friendly, helpful on local ideas and almost always available via phone, text or just knocking. If you’re planning a beach trip, they have things to lend out - cooler, beach towels, etc. - if they have it, you can use it. Wish we had more days as Ruben’s breakfasts are top notch. The room and bed were comfy and you can't beat the views from the bedroom and off the balcony. Location is on the edge of the forest so lots of great sounds at night. Also lots of animals on the property including Bowie the friendliest dog ever, peacocks, ducks, chickens (and one annoying rooster, but only in the morning!) Be very patient with the hot water in the shower as runs from the main house and can be slow to heat up. And until driveway gets fixed a vehicle with more clearance is recommended. It can be tricky to find the driveway the first time - android maps are perfectly accurate, iPhone not so much. Thank you Ruben, Jessica, and Linda for a great stay!
