“Before Salt Hotel and Pub opened or reopened(?) we only thought of Ilwaco as a fishing stop. Now for us it’s a destination! Great food and drinks at the pub, cozy comfy rooms, minutes from Long Beach and Astoria. Highly recommend!”

“The ocean clearly visible from our suite. The suite was big, with an extra bedroom with its own bathroom. Also, a full kitchen with a full size refrigrator was included. The pool area was alright and I enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. The free breakfast was sufficient with all the basics, but had to wait over half an hour for the omelet once, and over 10 minutes another time.”

“We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend.”

“Owner/host gave us tour and recommendations for dinner that were close by. Historic building that has been lovingly restored and includes modern amenities and bathrooms. Has a lot of extra touches like cookies and coffee in entry, bathrobes, room darkening shades, great breakfast.”

“We loved our stay! Check in and communication great. Very private with fun and artsy outdoor grounds. We loved enjoying the fire pit at night. We tried walking to the beach but the trail is no longer usable to reach the beach. Directions were provided to a close beach access that takes you right to the sand. Dogs loved playing on the beach and we had a great time. ”

“This place was awesome, clean, big, classy, and yet unique. Also their adjoined cafe was some of the most delicious breakfast food I have had, hands down. Biscuits, greens, fried chicken light and crunchy perfection, and the staff was super super freakin nice. They really know how to connect in an attentive authentic way. If I recall correctly they even had matcha which is a bit of a luxury drink. We had a magical experience running into friends who were coincidentally staying across the way at...
