The provisions provided to get us started were very thoughtful and helpful. The house was roomy, clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked. The directions provided for all the amenities were more than sufficient to make correct use of them. We hope to be able to stay here again some day.”

“The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. One minor negative is that there is a little bit of street noise from pedestrians on their way out of the city center after the bars closing. Usually...

“This adorable cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The location was close to stores and restaurants, easy walk to anything we needed. Having a parking spot on the property was perfect, a convenience that made our stay. The property was clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The owner even supplied body wash, shampoo and soaps which was a nice surprise. This is a fantastic place, we highly recommend it! Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“Als wir angekommen sind, war das Haus stark verschmutzt und heruntergekommen. Die Toilette zeigte noch die Hinterlassenschaften des Vormieters. Überall im Haus war Schimmel, da offensichtlich nach der letzten Vermietung nie wieder jemand einen Fuß in das Haus gesetzt hat, um zu putzen. Auch die Betten waren nicht neu bezogen worden. Das Haus muss dringend saniert und richtig geputzt werden. Nie wieder würde ich es buchen.”

“Combined 2 Days in Dornoch Castle Hotel with 5 Days at Cottage in Tain after the wedding. The cottage has been modernised but still has some original features. It is spacious, comfortable & well equipped with everything you could possibly need. If you enjoy baking, utensils are all there, including a Food Mixer. “Very clean and comfortable house, walking distance to the pub two doors down, and an Esso/small grocery 5 minutes the other direction. The only two suggestions I have for the owners are to clearly state that bedrooms are upstairs and that there is no parking on the property itself (we used the canal parking lot down the street a bit). ”

“Beautiful property. Sheep, fruit, and vegetable farms all around. Staff super nice. Had the ability to grill our own food and have a fire to sit around and enjoy the beautiful weather we had way into the night. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Play area for the kids. This is by far our favorite place so far on our two week trip around the UK. ”

“A great place to stay if you want to have some quiet days in the area. Large Apartment with high standard. Pool in the main building and a restaurant with a menu with several vegetarian options. They charge extra for electricity.”
