Aloha, We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your time on Maui, though we try to make an effort to meet off our guests’ needs. We do all we can to make sure our unit descriptions are accurate and UpToDate, so if there is something that we’ve missed or that could be misinterpreted, we apologize. With regard to the cleanliness of the unit, we have professional cleaners who cleaned the unit prior to your check in and part of their procedure is to document or take photos after every task for us to confirm. Aside from this, we also have unit inspectors who goes to the unit after the clean to make sure that everything is in order and prepared for our coming guests. As I investigate into our system I did not find any reports or calls and text in any of our departments about the issues you were having during your stay. In the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us so that we can address any problems you may have and attend to certain things you require. We make sure to acknowledge and resolve all of our guests’ issues as soon as we are informed about it and to ensure the quality of our services we make calls, emails and text as personal as possible to reach our guest. This condo acts as the unit owners’ second home and they make sure to treat it as such. Brand new living room furniture was installed this last July 2022 and this month new wood end tables and dressers are being delivered. New photos to come soon. We are disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy the walk to the beach. The “jungle trail” you refer to is the path overlooking to ocean that takes you from Napili Point to Honokeana Cove and then along to Napili Bay. Napili Bay is about a 5-7 minture walk. This trail is lined with a hedge of beautiful flowering bougainvillea and groundskeepers ensure it’s no taller than hip height so that guests can enjoy the expansive ocean view as they walk. You can see the path in photo #37 and #38 within the listing. We’ve notified the groundskeeper of your comment and he will touch up any spots that have overgrown. We are so sorry as well about the experience you've had upon your check in. Please know that our unit is privately owned, which means that we don't have a control over the people assigned at the front office but rest assured that we will raise this feedback with the building management, so they can take further actions. Aloha Kelly, Thank you for your review. We are in a subtropical climate and host a variety of wildlife. Even with constant pest control, Maui’s cleanest and best-kept resorts, hotels and shopping malls cannot avoid a certain amount of insect pests. Because paradise is inviting to more than humans, sometimes, despite everyone’s best efforts, there is nothing that will prevent pests from entering the condo. We do ask each guest to make sure they keep the kitchen clean and not leave anything out on the counters or stove for pests to get into. It does help prevent insects from being such a pest. I don't understand the comment about the photos? Oh- well the unit is pictured exactly as it is. The unit is set in one of the most idyllic settings, right on the water's edge. One of the best snorkeling spots on the island. Mahalo!

We have already had our locksmith look further into the situation in order to ensure that future guests do not encounter such problems. We have also had the light bulbs replaced and apologize that this went unnoticed prior to your stay with us. Please note that this unit is specifically designed to capture an authentic Maui feel that is different from the average hotel chain. The unit has A.C. in the bedrooms to facilitate sleeping on tropical nights and there are fans available for the living room to help with air circulation. This is a very special end unit built for privacy and a wonderful indoor/outdoor lifestyle unavailable with other units in the complex. Its expansive lawn and sliding glass doors on two sides of the living room allow one to truly enjoy the natural beauty of the island. The Hawaiian lifestyle is captured in this unique unit and we find that most guests prefer this authentic indoor/outdoor living experience.
