Apartment in minimal style with two bedrooms, close to the train station in Naples.

This apartment, located on the first floor reachable on foot, opens to a living room with an equipped kitchenette, a dining table with chairs and a double sofa bed.
From here there is access to two bedrooms with a queen size bed and a wardrobe, in addition to a full bathroom with shower.
At guests’ disposal there are also comforts such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning in both bedrooms and heating.

“When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave”, people say. Naples is a unique city, to experience by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage. Naples is at the origin of a peculiar culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Walking through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, you will cross its millenary history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Cathedral of Naples and the Maschio Angioino. If there is a symbolic place of Naples, this is Piazza del Plebiscito, today a symbol of the new "Neapolitan Renaissance" where tourists come to admire its grandeur and its two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Palazzo Reale. Today it is also possible to visit "the underground city", or the so-called "womb of Naples", used by the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombings, where tourists can cross the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters and finally visit the Museum of the War.
Not to be missed is San Severo Chapel which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works that can be seen in Naples, the result of the talent of Giuseppe Sanmartino.

The airport Napoli Capodichino is with a 10-minutes drive while the central train station is 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment.

Don't stay here!

The apartment is in a sketchy neighbourhood that made us too uncomfortable to return later than 21:00. Filthy stairs up to the first floor apartment. The apartment itself has been updated with modern-looking furniture and a large, attractive bathroom. However, hot water for showers lasts about 5 minutes, The freezer of the fridge works, but the fridge itself does not. This is inconvenient overall, but outright dangerous for a family like ours with a diabetic whose insulin must be kept refridgerated. There are many small broken items in the apartment - bathroom mirrors, lamps in bedrooms. Most concerning, there are bare wires coming out of electric power bars and a very disconcerting stain on the comforter in the second bedroom. We still hadn't received check-in instructions on the day we travelled to Naples. After 2 email requests for information, we received a response with directions saying that they had already sent us an email (it came in on our second day in the apartment). All around not a pleasant experience.

Worst experience in Italy - Undisclosed Fees, Cockroach in Room, No Hot Water

I cannot begin to explain how AWFUL of a trip this stay made us have. The location is not in a safe part of town, as many a local had mentioned to us during our stay. We communicated excessively with a company that manages this property, as they asked for city taxes and “late arrival” fees that were not listed on VRBO previously; if your flight got in after 7pm, you had to pay 40€ to some random man who works for the wonderfulItaly company. We arrived and had an EMPTY hot water tank, which did not even re-fill within 24h. We took cold showers every day. The place smelled of bleach and water damage. The second night we found a cockroach under one of the sheets and refused to sleep in the bed. The couch bed/pull out was so bent out of shape I don’t think my spine will ever be aligned again. Truthfully the worst experience I’ve had in my life and would NEVER recommend this to my worst enemy.
