Ryokans i Nara

“Must say it was the best hotell experience i have had in a long time. After leaving the bag for storage it was moved to my room and when i check in i got a very friendly guide that helped me to the room.”

“Fint, men litet rum. Bra system för bokning av bad påmolats. Men personalen pratade dålig energiska vilket gjorde det svårt att kommunicera t.ex. om byte av kudde eller vita grejer i badet. Överlag var allt dock bättre än vad tidigare recensioner gjort gällande och jag är nöjd med vårt val. Du bör dock veta att detta inte är ett ryokan, snarare ett ganska bra budgethotell.”

“Very good location, and since the rain was pouring down when we arrived, the fact that the accomodation is under one of the streets with roof, meant we could change clothes and the walk with dry clothes to find dinner. The room was cozy and we slept like puppies :-)”

“Room was cosy and the staff very acommodating and nice! Language barriers were easily overcome with Google Translate when needed. Unfortunately neither dinner or breakfast was to our liking, and we consider ourselves to be quite open for new food and tastes. It was our first meal with food of this kind, so difficult for us to rate if this is what it should taste like, or if the chef had a bad day.”

“Hotel is close to main attractions in Nara as well as to train and bus stations. Very helpful personal at the reception.”

“Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd they couldn't give answer, they found someone who could. Onsen is amazing, but single. One note is it switches every day, one day females, one day males.”

“従業員の方の対応が丁寧で快適に過ごせました。お庭を眺めながらの茶粥がとても美味しかったです。”

“The staff were beyond friendly and hospitable! My friend staying with me was having medical issues and we were immediately offered help/accommodations in any way possible. The bath has a fantastic view over Nara, the property is nestled amongst some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen, our room was very cozy, and the breakfast in the morning left us full and satisfied. Somehow in a Country other than my home, I felt right at home. If I ever come back to Japan, I’d be remiss if I didn’t...

“The surrounding area and garden were beautiful. The hotel is located just a minute from the train station which is very convenient. In addition the service was great. Parts of the property would however benefit from a refurbishment, although every surface were clean. The traditional food sure was interesting. ”

“The location of this hotel was the best with it. Really close to shopping, a lot of bars and restaurants. Close to some nightclubs to. Small japanice style room. Worked perfect for my and my friend.”

“ウェルカムギフトが色々とあって良かった。”

“En mycket spännande upplevelse - sova på madrass på golvet - japansk frukost - japanska badregler mm. Känns väldigt genuint. Men 1-2 dagar räcker bra. Största nackdelen är att hotellet ligger lite långt bort från de flesta utflyktsmål så taxi eller långa promenader är ett måste.”

“It was a wonderful experience. The ryokan is located in the outskirts of Osaka away for the busy city life. The 20 kin walk to the ryokan was refreshing, walking in the nature by the river pass the temples. The staff was very welcoming”
