“My visit started with excellent customer service with Zach helping me find my parking space to making sure I got checked into my room. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and the hotel management was super responsive. My room was very warm and they tried to work with me to make it cooler. “We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, renovated, and modern. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed being able to use amenities at the neighboring attached property as well. The location was excellent and was walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants, and museums. We will definitely plan to stay here again in the future. ”

“Location is good. Rooms are big. Shower is fantastic and the products too. Blackout curtains very good. However for the number of stars the hotel have it’s a bit of a disappointment. Pillows were lumpy, other guests were rowdy at 2am 2 nights, feels like a party hotel. No stairs to reach your floor, you could only exit. Elevator often busy due to bar and resturant being on the top floor. AC not quiet. Doors slams when closing. ”

“The gym was small but had good equipment. The parking was an issue -charged to park but all the spots were filled - we asked about the parking and night staff was rude. They apparently have off site parking available on weekends that you have to walk from- but we were not informed at check in. But otherwise people were nice. ”

“Let’s describe it as quirky. This is in a former grand house, and has shared spaces including a living room. Our room was quite large and even had a few snacks. We never actually saw anyone else there, as we had instructions to get in. Parking was a short walk away in a museum lot. We loved the closeness to Nelson-Atkins museum, and it was pretty near KC Rep’s theater.”

“Under renovation (which we were informed about the day of our check in). Upon check in, we were told we were lucky because we would be in one of the newly renovated rooms. Unfortunately, they are poorly done in every way. Nothing was functional, everything is cheap and done halfway (missing outlet covers, power strips hanging at the back of the bed, visible caulking), entire hotel smelled bad. Additionally, the desk was unattended most evenings with easy access to the building, the food permit...

“It was just what I needed but I was blown away with the comfort of the bed, pillows and super clean. Will be back and hopefully can use outdoor area. Coffee in the lobby nice and quiet although on street side. Will be back!!!”
