âSĂ„ bra boende! LĂ€get Ă€r perfekt, vĂ€rden Alex Ă€r mycket trevlig och serviceminded och frukosten var superfrĂ€sch och god. Extra bra att ha bilen parkerad pĂ„ innergĂ„rden nĂ€r det Ă€r ett sĂ„ centralt lĂ€ge. â
âBodde bara en natt dĂ„ vi skulle ta bĂ„ten morgonen efter men hade gĂ€rna stannat fler nĂ€tter. DĂ„ vĂ„r bĂ„t gick före frukosttiden sĂ„ ordnade vĂ€rden sĂ„ vi fick nĂ„t att Ă€ta pĂ„ rummet.â
âRekommenderar alla att ta sig hit. Toppklass pĂ„ maten, personalen och rummen. GĂ€stvĂ€nligt, ombonat, modernt och oslagbar omgivning. Underbart, vi kommer definitivt tillbaka!â
âLovely little pub and rooms, food is very good although it's at a price point where you'd expect that.
Lots of German and Dutch tourists stopping and a few locals. Not much of a pub vibe as it's all given over to dining but the room were spacious and comfortable.â
âWe enjoyed our one night stay! We had a king size bed and twin for our 16 year old daughter. It was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and clean. The view of the water was beautiful and the restaurant was was so nice. The bartenders and wait staff were wonderful and welcoming; everyone with a smile! We would love to stay again when we have more time!!!â
âLoved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. Great work by the hotel owners - shows you can run an historic hotel in a great location but still make it affordable to all visitorsâ

âI booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

"I really loved the room on the top floor facing Dover Castle. It was like having a wonderful piece of art just outside the window.
I also loved the whiteness and the minimalistic interiors of the place.
I used the kitchenette and it was totally fine except from the fridge which was so cold my fresh vegetables froze.
I stayed for 5 nights and the only really downsides of the place was that the toilets were not being cleaned for several days.
The owners were also very slow in responding to several guests trying to contact them because the guests needed support in some different ways.
I would recommend the place despite this though. It is placed in a very quiet part of Dover and I did like the atmosphere in the building. "

Negative: Bathroom was not the cleanest. Thick carpet, not hygienic. Noise both from nearby road, rooms and hallway.
But all in all a good stay."
