âDas Hotel und das Personal war top in allen Hinsichten, da haben wir nichts auszusetzen. Nur die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und es gibt wenige Ausgehmöglichkeiten. Wenn man allerdings 20-30 Minuten am Strand entlanglĂ€uft gibt es mehr zu sehen und die StrĂ€nde sind auch um einiges schöner.

âI have just stayed at the senseana resort for 5 days.
Upon arrival the hotel staff couldnât be more accommodating, they are all very friendly and could help you enough, they are what make you feel like you are at home!
The one only thing I think that letâs this hotel down is the food served, it was quite a limited choice for main meals and snacks, although the food served was very nice. Apart from this 5* all day long.

We travelled as a family and it was our 1st time in Crete and an adults only Hotel, our whole experience was outstanding from the moment we arrived at the hotel till the day of leaving. "The hotel was okay, but the cleanliness was really disappointing.
Even on the first day when we arrived, the bed and blanket were dirty, and the towels had stains on them.
Honestly, the only good thing was the view from the balcony â it was beautiful.
But everything else was just average, and in my opinion, I wouldnât come back there again."
"We stayed at the resort for 10 days and overall had a good stay â but itâs not a 5-star resort. The place feels quite run-down, especially the rooms, which havenât been renovated in many years.
Pros:
- Very friendly and helpful staff.
- Beautiful and well-maintained surroundings.
- We were quickly offered a new room when we asked. Highly recommend choosing one with a sea view â others can have a very dull view.
- Thereâs a cozy little backyard area behind Rodius where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. Sadly, itâs often empty since itâs far from the main restaurant.
- For the price per night, comparing to many other resort, it is priceworthy.
Cons:
- The lifeguards are overly strict. I made a small dive in the pool and was immediately whistled at â very uncomfortable. I wasnât the only one who noticed; several guests felt the same.
- The rooms and parts of the hotel feel outdated and in need of renovation.
- Half board only includes the main buffet restaurant. Although the buffet is pretty good for being a buffet.
Tips:
- Rent a car if you want to explore! Avoid Hersonissos â we recommend Piskopiano instead. If youâre traveling with kids, visit Acqua Water Park (5 mins away). For a great beach nearby, go to Potamos.
