“Facilities are clearly old and the signs of the age are everywhere. The place is really well located and the staff is super helpful and compensate the aged location. Frankly is a good place to stay for a reasonable price.”

“I enjoyed how quiet it was. And how quickly management responded to requests. Only real issue I had was sheets are a little thin so I would suggest bringing a travel blanket if you get cold easily (and I do). But I would recommend to as a good place to stay. And I will be planning a repeat visit. It can be a little hard to initially find as it's directly behind a restaurant. And GPS does not help. I think a sign a little closer to the road might help. “THe hotel has been renovated. So the room was in good shape. THis is a simple place so there is nothing fancy. THis area feels a little unsafe. One day there was a guy just standing in the parking lot urinating. Gross, but that's the area this is in.”

“The property was about what I expected for the price. Good front desk staff, efficient check in, clean room. The facility is in the process of being rehabbed, so I suspect that the overall condition will be much improved over the next several months. My room had a few minor issues that were more aesthetic than functional.”

“I booked the hotel stating explicitly that we needed a room for 5 people, 2 adults and 3 kids, 14, 17 and 17. When we came to the hotel they charged us $10 extra for a fold out bed, as it was obvious that you can't fit 3 kids in a queen size bed. This was not what we expected. I did not expect this from either Hotels.com nor the hote.”

“Our family spent just one night att Days Inn and it was just fine. The location near the shoppingmall was perfect. A big hug to the fantastic staff that did us the great service and sent us our sons Nintendo-game that he had left in the safe in the room!. They arranged so that the game was sent back to us in Sweden and that was much more than we expected! Many thanks from Ystad!”

“Value for money. Staff was very polite, rooms were clean and equipped with all the basic facilities. Other than that they have security who was on round and many dining option near by. Must stay here if you have come for work or with family.”

“I want to be transparent here. My room was barebones, but it is what I paid for, and for that I was satisfied. If you’re looking for the 5 star experience without paying for it, that’s unrealistic here for right now. The staff were friendly and flexible. It’s my hope that Richmond hotel will provide more amenities, upgrades, and repairs as it gets more guests there.”

“This was the nastiest place we have ever stayed. Unsafe location, definitely not worth $100+ a night.”

“Not much to like. The only lights in the room that worked was at the sink and in the bathroom. Room smelled like a dirty ashtray. No washcloths and ran out of T P, had to walk to the store and get a roll. Stay away, find another hotel. 👎👎👎”

“The room was absolutely disgusting the bedding was not washed at all . I could smell the body odor of the person that slept on it last. My husband was so grossed out he slept on the table. There were bugs and the fridge was dirty. There was a fist sized hole in the bathroom door like someone tried breaking it down . There were white stains on the chairs and the couch I wish I could get my money back bc that was terrible ”

“The owners are trying to make things nice in the older motel. They were friendly. If you need something cheap, this is good enough. ”

“The attendant at the front was rude from the minute I came in to the second I left. Then I get to the room and no tv ( it wouldn’t even power on) let’s just say I would never stay here again. ”

“Perfect location for attending our son's graduation from University of Richmond. Pleasant, walkable neighborhood. Short distance to a grocery, the University, and restaurants. Lots of space, including a formal dining room. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was well stocked. Check in & out was easy. Would stay again.”

“We had an enjoyable stay on the houseboat. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We even made spaghetti the first night for dinner since we arrived later than planned. The area is private, we only saw a few people and those we did see gave a friendly hello if they didn't stop to chat with us. For anyone wondering about the movement of the boat, it is very stable.
