Completed in 2021, this Max Fulbright and TruHome Designs house is a spacious home on a quiet peninsula at Lake James. This modern rustic home sits on an acre of land with a beautiful view of Lake James and the North Carolina mountains. The home features 3 master bedrooms each with private bathrooms and huge showers. An additional 4th bedroom has a queen bed and shares a bathroom with the bunk-room which accommodates 6. The lower level family room is equipped with bar area, mini fridge, television, numerous games, pool table and activities table. There are amenities throughout including most appliances and cooking utensils you'll need, place settings for 16, BBQ grill with grilling accessories. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the decks and at the dock for relaxation and take in the scenery, especially the incredible sunsets.
At the lake is a private dock with a 24 ft. boat slip. 2 Kayaks, 2 Paddle-boards and life vests are available for guests. Our dock and everything on it is provided for our guests. You may bring your own boat or rent one locally. The neighborhood provides a locked, boat trailer storage area offsite for guests and homeowners.
INTERNET: WiFi internet provided by Starlink is available at the house right now. It provides high speed access but will not seem as fast as cable or fiber. It's more than adequate for streaming movies, zoom calls, etc.
There is a pool and common area near the entrance of the neighborhood which will be accessible to all guests, however, it is not always open so please don't use the pool as a basis for your stay (amended 7/18/23). Use of the common areas requires utmost respect and consideration so we may be able to continue offering these amenities.
10 minutes from Lake James state park with hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails. 10 minutes to Fonta Flora Brewery at Whipporwhil Farm where you can enjoy local brews and outdoor games.
60 minutes from Asheville, 1.5 hours from a Charlotte.
