  • Platsen - Shoalhaven ligger i den västra änden av Shoal BayBeach, bara gå över gräset och du är på stranden. Det är också bara 500 meter från familjevänliga Little Beach för lugnt vattenbad, picknick och grillplats och bara en kilometer (eller en promenad upp till stranden) till Shoal Bays butiker, kaféer och restauranger. Plus fem minuters bilresa till Nelson Bay.

    Enheten - Enheten på tredje våningen erbjuder panoramautsikt över hamnen från balkongen och vardagsrummet. Vardagsrummet är öppen planlösning med platt-TV och DVD-spelare, en matplats och ett fullt utrustat kök med spis, ugn, mikrovågsugn och diskmaskin. Två sovrum (dubbelsäng och två enkelsängar), båda med takfläktar, ett badrum med dusch (inget badkar) och en intern tvättstuga med en tvättmaskin (ingen torktumlare). Undercover parkering finns för två små bilar.

    Det finns definitivt röklarm på den här egenskapen.

View was beautiful. The beds were not made and had the linen in plastic for us to make. Unit was not clean. Bad internet reception. Also dealing with them to make reservations and to organise late check-in was really hard work. The booking process was not made easy.

Great Location

This Unit is situated in the best location with stunning views. The Unit is quite dated but the location certainly makes up for it! Awesome being able to listen to the waves at night and have great views from lying in bed, sitting on the lounge or having a cuppa on the balcony. Beautiful Lorikeets visited us on the balcony & large bunnies were seen in the evening on the grass outside the Unit. Within 5 minutes drive of Nelson Bay main town centre and only a 10 minute walk down the beach to Shoal Bay village. The only issue was the bed linen..... there was unfortunately a 'sweaty body' linen smell in the main bedroom. We were supplied with clean linen ($28 cost) however the pillows, mattress protector, quilt cover etc was in need of a good hot water wash. We actually went & purchased new pillows due to the extent of the issue. I have given feedback to the Company who manages the Unit so hopefully this will be sorted out for future guests. I would definitely stay there again (providing Linen issue sorted) just for the location, view etc.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is dangerous. Every time a wave hit the beach the building shook meaning no sleep for anyone. It was dusty and mouldy causing asthma to flare up and made us cancel our last night. Check in process is too complicated and staff were rude when organising out of hours key collection

Spectacular Room

The view from our room was beautiful. The cleanliness of our room was okay could do with some furniture upgrade. Check in and check out we’re easy. Overall the experience was pleasant and the view was spectacular. Thank you

Good n bad

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The veiw was amazing and sound of waves mindblowing . Our unit number 6 on 3rd floor was **** , no lifts , steps were so narrow more then 50-60 steps to climb and carrying stuff upstairs was so painful ruined the whole stay . There was no aircon and it was hot humid n stcky . Once we went up didnt want to go down because of stairs . We booked the room for 4 adults picked up keys at 2:30 pm went up with everything , long trip , tired and then toilet roll was less then half a roll , imagine 4 adults n 1/4 toilet roll and there was no spares . Had to wakeup early to go find toilet roll lucky wollys was open early . I will never ever go there again .

The property provides excellent views but almost everythibg else is a disappointment. This unit is long overdue for renovations and the upkeep has been poor.
